The Unspoken Words Of A Grumbling Child: A Short Story / Unspoken (2) (3) (4)

•this is an old poem I wrote.. Unspoken the ways of man is hypocritical, synonymous to a Pharisee, & feminism is a demon in the world of phalluses, now we dance to baneful hymns, diabolically musical, & bribery & corruption are bilaterally symmetrical, we had the Creator relegated, now it's anarchy & violence, now we bow to philosophy & the statuettes of science, now we are kith to immorality & kin to sin, even our realities are akin to lucid dreaming, & our feelings grim, this is the truth in rhymes from the caverns of my mind, for the buoyant, penurious & boulevard swine, for the vagrants & vagabonds who don't have a dime, & for the fatigued traveller craving for the taverner's wine, we see brothers against brothers, mothers against daughters, sons against fathers, lovers against lovers we see iniquity hailed, our hearts vile & despicable every plebeian ignoramus now claims he's child of the Indigo, malevolence levitating,& our souls like fertile fields where hatred is germinated, virginity has become archaic, prostitution is sacred, women discarding clothes, because they only earn if they are nak£d, Timonism is celebrated, our rights violated the saints get sentenced, the criminals venerated, volcanic-esque vanity- melting us like smouldering iron, used to be soldiers of Zion, ferocious like lions, now our hopes & aspirations are spiraling downwards, chivalry & being quixotic has been lost in the muds, courteousness & urbanity has gone to the dogs, the radio is an audio Beelzebub that lavish us with scum, even religious melo-dramas, gives us flashes of porn, holiness has been cremated by the unholy, its ashes in the urn, & meretriciousness prevails from the dusk to the dawn, dishonesty is the best policy & we all act recklessly, but when our conscience ululates, we contrast spasmodically, the once overlooked ailment has become cancerous, the enthusiasm has been sapped from the overzealous, the loyal serfs have gone treacherous, the mild & milquetoast have become ornery & cantankerous, we no longer settle disputes, we now raise the rifles, even the sales of condoms inundates the sales of bibles, our existence like the mood of a wretched defeated defeatist, & survival of the fittest has morphed to survival of the meanest, have you been to the slums lately, seen the greed in the streets?, have you seen the eyes of our leaders as they expectorate deceit?, heard the gospel of the media? & the vulgarity in its speech ?, have you turned on your television where homosexuality is preached?, see, life made me grow wiser, i went from being a visualizer to being a verbalizer, because action speaks louder, so place your palms on my palms & lets change the society together. |
