It is true! I was in Aba yesterday, I can confirm it. All the police stations in Aba have been converted to Eateries( Mr. Biggs, Tantalizers), all the policemen in Aba, have all opened shops where they trade to avoid being killed. Then all the military barracks in Aba, have been converted to boarding schools!

We should look at this thing holistically. A young innocent man was gunned down in Aba. What the police should have immidiately done is to tender an unreserved apology to the family of the deceased. Instead, what they did when people protested was to open fire with live ammunition. For how long will people suffer the arrogant excesses of the Police? Militancy is slowly creeping into Igbo land and the day Igbo youths take up arms is the day Nigeria comes to an end. There isn't a big difference between a Nigeria soldier carrying AK 47 and an Igbo youth carrying the same, both can kill each other. The Nigerian Army that could not defeat the Niger Delta militants and cannot defeat Boko Haram has no hope of ever defeating Igbos, not even in a thousand years.
