I have read with suprise how people who have come to Christ holding back their old life baggage, run back only to start castigating the bible and its content. They have failed to understand that for one to learn, s/he has to be ready and readying oneself requires emptying notpremeditatedness! Litle wonder apostle paul said i resolve to know nothing except Christ(1cor2:2 ), he emptied himself on the road to damascus, when he asked what would You Lord i do?(act9:6kjv)at this point paul, a lawyer of great reputation, learnt at the feet of gamalel has become emptied and doesn't know what next to do, a man who has the ability to obtain a national judgment to carry out a novel task? CHRIst empties before He refills, being born again also gives credence to it,because at young age we have the ability to learn more, the learnability that comes from the spirit and not the physical.when we empty ourselves, the spirit will take us from ground zero up. Paul knew this,else,what can better explain a man of his academic /social status coming to the corrintians deviod of eloquence and knowledge but just ttestimony of this Man of gallilee. The knowledge of bible beats every physical mind,therefore,you will always remain confused how a sound mind would read,believe and apply the bible and works.
