See the Op and other people acting as if they're sure of getting in if the recruitment is redone.

Don't worry, it won't be cancelled. Not after people left their previous jobs... what they may do is to conduct another interview/screening for already selected candidates and fish out ineligible ones...

PEOPLES name were wrongly dropped and not picked at all, those who never applied got the job

there is another 1500 retireees by December this year, making room for 1500 replacements FG is planning to review the process and many more people will e employed this time

There may have been one or two cases of irregularities and sharp practices in the recruitment, it would be extremely callous of the president to cancel the exercise. Although my younger brother did not scale through at the final stage, I know of someone who got the job without knowing or calling anybody to influence the process on his behalf. This guy eventually resigned his contract appointment with Zenith Bank. I suggest the president should rather open up other recruitment opportunities, may also increase the number of those to be recruited into NIS.

Finally, for those of us already celebrating the cancellation of the process, what is the guarantee you would eventually make it if the exercise is repeated? Don't you think such wicked and overly selfish mindset can attract a curse? How do you feel in the depth of your conscience?

I felt extremely disappointed my brother lost out but would be more disappointed to have the process annulled.

Only a myopic mind would make it seem like they would die since they didn't pass lol.

Why wouldn't people be happy about the development? 90% of people selected for the appointment were not part of the recruitment processes, but got appointment through the backdoor, while the real contender for the job, went through a tough rigour of the exercise but were finally denial of their chances to proceed. The recruitment was a BIG SCAM. I am happy that the same sword that pierce through the heart of the disappoint gallant applicants who got a regret mail after the State Interviews, will pierce through the heart of those who used LONG LEG to denial the real gallant applicants that applied for the jobs. I am only very sorry for the less than 10% applicant who got the job genuinely.... God will watch your back and provide you with a better one SOONEST

The truth must be told, well over 1500 names were attached to the over 26,000 that was initially short-listed for the interview in every state of the Federation. Where did the 1500 names emanated from? Those names were added to the shortlisted names on their website after the Interview, and shortly afterward the list of Successful applicants was uploaded to make the whole process look so real, while the real applicant who passed the process started getting regret mails. What amazed me most as an applicant was that, I met all the requirement for Conpass 08 with 1.94meter, second class upper in Sociology, got interviewed and I was even told by the board that I av no cause to be worried because they are 101% sure that I will get an appointment letter because I have been on one of the best across board, but alas I got a regret mail that makes my regret been a Nigerian.

The illegal employment has been cancelled and appointment letters withdrawn. The manner in which the employment was conducted was the reason the CG was suspended.

FAAN is by far transparent compare to Immigration and I will welcome the idea of total cancellation because I lost interest in the whole process when I discovered Dragnet is to handle the Aptitude Test.
