The purpose of this article is to educate those who doesn't know this before; and act as a reminder to those who used to know, but who had forgotten it.

First, in simple definitions, let's talk about singulars and plurals first.

Singular And Plural.

A noun that refers to one person, one animal, one place, or one thing, is Singular. E.g. Woman, goat, Church, table.

While a noun which refers to more than one person, animal, place, or thing, is Plural. E.g. Women, goats, Churches, tables.

Plurals can be formed in various ways, such as:

Plural: books

Singular: roof
Plural: roofs. Etc.

- Adding 'en'
Examples

Singular: child
Plural: children

Singular: ox

- Adding 'es'
Examples
