Miley Cyrus Wants Us To Know Nicki Minaj Isn’t A Kind Person…Throws Serious Shade At Her Over MTV VMA Snub Rant

Miley Cyrus who is set to host the MTV VMA awards on Monday night may have just kicked off round 2 of the Twitter war of words between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift.

Late last month Nicki got all in her feelings and played the “racism/my yansh is too big card” when her Anaconda video, wasn’t nominated for Video of The Year. Back then Minaj wrote in a Twitter rant

If I was a different ‘kind’ of artist, ‘Anaconda’ would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. When the ‘other’ girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination. If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.


She was obviously referring to Taylor Swift who quickly clapped back at Nicki. The two then traded words before fake e-hugging it out on Twitter and settling their feud. [READ HERE]

That was over a month ago, now Miley “I need attention, so I’ll just be nekkid all the time” Cyrus has added her own to the fight. In a recent interview with New York Times, when asked about Minaj’s statements, she had this to say

People forget that the choices that they make and how they treat people in life affect you in a really big way. If you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and I would respect your statement. But I don’t respect your statement because of the anger that came with it. If you want to make it about race, there’s a way you could do that. But don’t make it just about yourself. Say: ‘This is the reason why I think it’s important to be nominated. There’s girls everywhere with this body type.

But she wasn’t done…she then said Minaj’s remarks were “very Nicki Minaj,” which she described as “not too kind” and “not very polite.”

I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love. You don’t have to start this pop star against pop star war. It became Nicki Minaj and Taylor in a fight, so now the story isn’t even on what you wanted it to be about. Now you’ve just given E! News ‘Catfight! Taylor and Nicki Go at It.’ I know you can make it seem like, ‘Oh I just don’t understand because I’m a white pop star.’ I know the statistics. I know what’s going on in the world

So basically what Cyrus wants us to know that a kind person…Will Nicki clap back?
