MELKA GROUP OF COMPANIES An oil and gas support company. 1. Business Development and Marketing Manager Qualifications & Experience i. A good University Degree in Business Admim or Marketing ii. Minimum of 5 yrs experience iii. Good written and oral communications skills iv. Compliant in Microsoft Office Applications v. Managerial ability. Job Description i. Build customer profile by identifying immediate and long term goals ii. Identifying new business opportunities and generate ideas on how to improve business. iii. Define strategy for relating with each customer group and create a customer relationship plan for each group iv. Identify and recommend the most appropriate technical assistance for key customers v. Provide regular updates on plans and strategic processes vi. Demonstrate consistent Business Development success. 2. Accountant Qualifications & Experience vi. BSc. / HND in Accounting vii. Minimum of 2 yrs experience viii. ICAN membership is an added advantage ix. Compliant in Microsoft Office Applications x. Proficiency in basic Accounting Software (Tally and Peachtree) Job Description vii. Renders general admin and accounting support to the Financial Manager viii. Liaisons with banks and genral maintenance of petty cash within the company. ix. Provides monthly financial management reports as well as statements of affairs of the company x. Performs other assigned duties as assigned by the Chairman. 3. Personal Assistant / Secretary to the Chairman Qualifications & Experience xi. A good first degree in Secretarial Studies or any related discipline from a reputable tertiary Institution. xii. Minimum of 3 yrs experience Job Description i. Provides general secretarial and admin support to the Chairman. ii. Manages the chairman’s daily itinerary and diary iii. Keeps an up to date product diary and schedule of important company activities and events and updates the Chairman on changes as may be required iv. Makes necessary travel arrangements for the chairman and liaise with the procurements, services function and or appointed Travel Agents and Airlines as appropriate. v. Processes incoming and out going mail vi. Deals with telephone enquiries as appropriate on behalf of the Chairman vii. Maintains an efficient document and filing management systems for the Chairmans’s Office. viii. Compiles basic financial and Administrative reports. ix. Schedules and co ordinates important meetings and events x. Performs other assigned duties as delegate bty the Chairman form time to time.
