Followup to my initial post. This street needs a good team of civil engineers

How can you call that a street?

Viewing the pic..... I can only see River Niger and not a street

What's the purpose of the thread? This is a natural occurence after any abnormal rainfall.

It does even happen on the streets of well engineered roads in Europe.

My heart is with affected ones.
Do we really deserved this form our government?
BTW, if the government construct drainage, my people will turn it into refuse dumping site when it rains...

Please tell us why the government cannot-

- educate & sensitise the people against such disastrous practice?
- arrest & fine heavily the stubborn goats [pretending to be human] who continue to behave like pigs?
- RECRUIT & pay regularly cleaners to clear the gutters ALWAYS?

Why is that impossible for us, even though some of our so-called diaspora are doing such gutter-cleaning work for obodo oyinbo country

Politicians work....when people make them work.

Have the people on the street done more than just grumble at home?

Modified

1.The people living on the street should form a neighbourhood group.

2.Present a petition to the Local Government and the State governor.

3.If no action....liase with other groups....and organise a protest march....and continue protest until Mr leader wakes up.

4.Then work with the contractors to build a good road....with closed drains.

It can be done.

Make your government at the state work for you.

bro, that s a small erosion, try and pay visits to victoria island, lekki or ikoyi after rainfall, you will hate lagos state cos those areas at v.I and lekki is always flooded after rainfall.

Recently, rains hardly falls in lagos state cos they re holding the rains. Using juju to hold the rains in lagos state because of the floods and water do come out frm the ground to enter people's homes.

Since june till now ,they ve use their juju to hold the rains, meanwhile it rains in ondo state, edo state, and the whole of southeast and southsouth except lagos state.

Na so so breeze dem dey see for lag..if I lie dnt quote me..

This calls for concern.

If this was to be Osogbo, by now, the usual suspects would have taken over this thread.
