Jokes aside. This country is sick. This is a former Minister of Finance, ex-Secretary to the Government and Former Presidential Candidate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a Yoruba Elder statesman that has been kidnapped. In civilized countries, the highest level of security alert would be raised to locate this Very Important personality within hours and try to forestall such from Happening again. But then again this is Nigeria where anything can happen. This is a very very sick country and i am surprised this is happening under a Buhari led APC Government that promised the highest level of security to all Nigerians.

Can this be traced to the withdrawal of police men from Nigerian VIPS or what? This is just as bad as the kidnapping of the Chibok Girls and its sad a whole Former Presidential candidate can be picked off the streets without a whimper of resistance. APC led Government must take responsibility for this and wake up to their responsibilities. Its over 5 months now and they cannot hide under the excuse of we are not prepared or handover security notes have not been properly briefed to Buhari. If GEJ was roundly criticized for the Chibok Girls kidnap, Buhari and APC must accept this one as their fault or are they going to blame GEJ for this one too? No VIP of Falae's stature has ever been kidnapped this easily in Nigeria and they should do everything possible to locate him ASAP unless this would further dent our poor security image.

They have added kidnapping to their highly despicable resume of atrocities

Dealing on human parts seems not enough for these sophisticated oduduwa descendants

From cannabis farming to butchering human parts for sale; and when it seemed not enough, they resorted to depriving the dead of their eternal peace by exhuming them to make ends meet undecided

I really do not understand your line of argument. Are you screaming that VIPs should not be kidnapped and regular citizens should be the victims. I also do not understand why you decided to bring the president into this. We have a structural defect in the country. Kidnapping is a pandemonium issue, yet we go about our business. The penalties for crimes in this country are just too little, hence making crimes a lucrative venture. The President has nothing to do with this, the police, who have actually identified their weakness, should be responsible for protecting the lives of citizens.

That is why the government should know that they should provide jobs for these youths because if the poor cannot see what to feed on, they will start feeding on the rich.

The government and the leaders should be able to make sure that money is invested on agriculture and encourage the youths to go into farming knowing that this country has vast land for agriculture.

The kidnappers are only responding to Buhari’s body language aka odour. Falae is hated by obasanjo and obj has been frequenting Aso Rock.

Very pathetic indeed. However, the withdrawal of policemen from Nigerian VIPs has now exposed them to what ordinary citizens had been facing all the while. Sad? yes. Good? oh, well....
