The Upper-hand Is With PDP:
The Senate composes of 109 Senators. The PDP has 49, while the APC enjoys 60. Of the APC 60, about 12(including Saraki) are seen as rebels and has been ostracised by their party. The PDP must meet these pro-Saraki APC minority group to present a PDP candidate from NC as Saraki's successor(anybody but David Mark). The APC rebels should be rewarded with membership/chairmanship of choice standing committees. With 61 senators(49 PDP Se+ 12 APC) behind PDP candiate, the party stand as "Majority" to defeat whoever the gods of APC present as their candidate because APC will be left with 48 senators. A very wide majority. Considering that PDP need a minimum 55 senators for this battle, 61 will be more than required. This is enough to humble APC.

Saraki Must Make Up With PDP
As for Bukola Saraki, he is unfortunate to be served the same meal he served former president Goodluck Jonathan and PDP. However, he has to repent and respond to his alleged offence. But, he should be told that the only way he can redeem his betrayals towards PDP is by supporting a PDP candidate to succeed him. This will also defeat the evil mechanism of Buhari and other APC gods.

Finally, the PDP must not let go of this rare opportunity to legitimately control the Senate and have the Umbrella standing in the office of the Senate President. Buhari will have no choice but to work with PDP-led Senate.

Let's teach APC how to play politics.

May God Bless Nigeria
Power To The People

In reality APC are actually in the minority with the current stand of things!! Even if Saraki was to just drop dead, the anti-APC like minds senators are still in the majority and would still decided the next senate presidency from amongst themselves!! The pro-APC unity forum senators are in the minority and cannot decide who become senate president if anything happens to Saraki.

I doubt so bro.

APC is still the majority. They may not have experience or internal wrangling but they control the senate and the constitution guarantees that. The only way they may reduce that majority is for some senators to decamp. I tell you, that's a risk that no one will be willing to take.

You are not smart Bro. ...

Where are you from? Obviously you are not a Yoruba guy cos you are too dull to be one.

APC could have all the senators behind their chosen candidates if president Buhari wants to play dirty politics. The question is, how is that possible?

All president Buhari needs to do is to look into each senator political history and use their past against them. 98% of those PDP senators were once governors with massive corruption being covered up. All he needs to do is to dig into their past and that is it.
lolzz...you are not smart bro. You think this is 1983 obviously. Wake up!

Dear TonyeBarcanista

I would really like for your ideology to play out in the PDP.
But I strongly doubt it's possibility, still, I will not put down or cast aspersions at your postulations....because of your sagacious political foresight.

The way I see it, there is no Nigerian leader who isn't tainted with a level of corruption, and whether Chief Firefire accepts this reality or not...There is low grade and high grade corruption.

I do not see Saraki stepping down willingly.
Honestly, I do not. But if for any reason, he vacates that seat, then I expect PDP to rise up to the occasion, and seize power...they have to ensure however that whoever they put forward must be a person of near-impeccable character.
I say this because one can expect Mr Tinubu and co to fight dirty.

That said,
Any arrangement that will continually frustrate and be a slap on the face and a kick in the scrotum of the Jagubantis of bourdillon is fine by me.

My Dear, the truth is that Saraki will go down based on moral burden. Very soon civil societies will start calling for his head. Moreso, should CCT convict him (which is most likely), he will vacate his Seat as Senator and SP. If you observeÐ his countenance you will get the message that he is filled with GREAT fear. PDP must beat APC to the game and not be taking by shock. I assure you that the APC gods and their loyalists are at a disadvantage.
