Life, love and death. I'm the one I want to be But though I'm me, Love lov'd me deeply We're in love 'because she call'd me virgin Most certain, 'because our love's untapped But I lay here dying and where is she I'm lov'd by life and killed by death. When love hates She says one word, sounds like "fate" "fate?" I'd ask but she'd say nay "Remember I'm love, I have no hate I've lov'd you till this very hour" But I'm dying 'because my Love's gone sour I am he that'd love to die But Death eludes, and life's awry She visits me, I love them eyes "Tomorrow" says she "I'll love You more" I lay in pain, not asking why She'll be here, she never lies. When Love hates and life is sour, Call on death she'll love u more. |
