@ikeyman00 The project might be Illegal but you can't just call for cancellation like that, you must consider the implications of an outright cancellation. The Project is overbloated and an initial payment running into millions of american dollars have been paid any attempt to cancel now will mean we have to forgo the initial payment and might even incur more payments because we don't really know the full details of the contractual agreement signed in the first place. And Again, If we cancel now(with automatic loss of money) what assurance do we have that a new contract signed won't tow the path of this one? |

ikeyman00:Well if the project is cancelled The Government have to pay $1.5billion,as this is part of the contract agreement of this rail project It should not be cancelled, instead the government should make sure the project is actualized ASAP The issue of the Halliburton scandal, that involved the US not CHINA. We should be grateful to the chines The government should ensure speedy completion of this project, whether it is inflated or not, consider the state of nigerians road, people who rely on public transport that pay hugh amount of money.BUT,when completed, the Masses would be using the rail and forget about the roads. Consider the roads through-out the nation have been inflated by those PDP bastards! And still, those PDP theives will still not build roads,or leave it as abandoned project. Without a rail system,Naija are going no where only to HELL! |
