My people D'banj is not as bad as some people claim the guy is only using what he has to aquire what he needs, imagine some of those Dbanj haters in his shoes; some reality shoes are so boring even the owners end up making nothing; somebody mentioned DSTV, I hope they remember Big Brother and the nudity attached to it; even is South Africa they respect Dbanj but back home the story is different. One thing is to have a talent and another is to transform that talent into mega brand; even Dbanj himself will in his heart come out like every other, but his effort and the Grace upon got him to where he is today. lets look at this from both sides.

i agree that most reality shows are silly and this particular one is shallow and debasing to the girls. but have we ever questioned the reason why so many pple watch these shows as shallow as they are? it means we have so many shallow minds around and they need to feed themselves on these shows, it is another indication of decadence and loss of morality in the society. also it shows we have too many idle minds around. instead of being creative people would rather watch what others do in their privacy. so rather than blaming producers, lets blame the people watching; cos if you dont watch it then they wil stop producing but can you stop.

now looking from the other side, only very very few stars can enjoy this status years and years. so a wise one would make the best of his season of popularity. so many pple have said he is not talented, ok, but then he knows how to commercialise the little talent he has as an entertainer. thats a wise investor. if our leaders know how to make the best use of our resources, naija would be better than we are today. so please let us not blame him. dbanj would definitely emerge from this bigger and more popular and im sure he wil know how to translate the popularity into cash. even tho i agree he its a copycat thing, but nothing stops anyone from borrowing an idea and making money from it

way forward. lets us learn to engage our minds in more imaginative constructive and productive activities. no one learns anything from reality shows. nothing wrong in entertaining yourself after a hard days work, but the addiction to these shows demonstrates priorities are misplaced.
