dharmie13: 15k for wetin? Is it for eBa? Ask urself, how much do u make a day after fuel and commission. Then u will know if u will charge same amount or add something on top. U can't definitely do the work for less than what u make when u do ur own work from morning till night. 1 Like |

Conner44: I can't dispute whatever method another man is using to earn high. It may work for one in a thousand but it can't be reality and what is obtainable or the true reflection of things out there, you gerrit? I only just added a voice to the controversy. Indeed, 20k fuel can fetch you not more than 40k on a very good day and take home is about a quarter or less of that earning, you gerrit too? I only have this account on Nairaland and another one that I only use when I get banned on this. Respect other people's opinions. I'm sure if the other account you are tagging as me said what would suit your small mind, it couldn't have been me, right? This is why you failed jamb a couple of times and went to school without a result. |

Pearl1910: Ever since I joined this platform and been observant, I thought you are the most intelligent fellow here. But you just proved me wrong.. Ur IQ is extremely low.. and I can categorically say that there is no difference between you and intellectual disability people. if my opinion with the moderator tallys together means we are the same person? I don't even know him or even chatted him once.. keep sentiment apart even if we keep arguing. How on earth do you think everyone we believe you made 80k from 20k fuel.. do u think others are daft like you?? 1 Like |

Jacksonfire: You really sound like one of the trouble makers here who likes arguing without facts or data. This raises the question of whether you're part of those individuals using a different moniker to cause nuisance here. Pearl's comments about making 80k net with 20k spent on fuel shouldn’t be your concern, whether it’s true or not. I don't think you need to be so upset or worried about it. It doesn't imply that other drivers who earn less are lazy or falling behind in life. Everyone has their own way of making things work for them. 4 Likes |

Pearl1910: Why is it hard for you to comprehend.. even if you made such amount, most people knows u can't get it only on online mood.. I gave an example earlier. Do u think in your state if 1hour ride is 13k is the same thing in other states? And I said next time be specific when dropping such misleading information. BECUs I saw one of ur post advising someone.. BECUs other drivers we think they ain't doing better not knowing bolt fares are different and everyone is buying fuel the same price 5 Likes |

Jacksonfire: What have u said that i am finding hard to comprehend... U said my claims are false, oya proof me wrong, u can't. Now u are shifting goal post. When have I ever said my post on my earnings should be a standard or a must have for everyone in Nigeria or the world? When have I said if u don't make what I make then u should feel bad about yourself. If u miss ur way in life is it my fault, u want to blame me for ur foolishness and misfortune?? Really, I thought u had small sense from the big big grammar u where dropping. I was hoping to have a good brain tasking debate, and analytical conversation with u. U disappointed me 😩 |

Checkings: You're very stùpíd. Me that told you fuel price will increase and the person that said price will reduce, who is defending the government? You better park your car and enter site with me if Uber no pay you again. |

Pearl1910: Continue sounding foolish and defending your your self. And keep wallowing in ur disdainful attitude.. I just gave an example of bolt fares of different states. And you can't still decipher.. arguing with someone like you keep me wondering if you used ur brain as a collateral to borrowed one cup of rice.. you deleted the proof because you lack integrity. Wait, how is it possible to drive from morning till night with 22litres of fuel, like you will drive non stop from morning till night with 22litres? |
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Barbiturate(m): 4:06pm On Oct 10 |
Omoapena:Thanks for sharing. Omo your fuel still plenty and you've already made 60k and I'm sure you did all offline. With that remaining fuel, you can make it to about 85k. Your net go dey enter like 60k 😊 |
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by TheModerator: 4:40pm On Oct 10 |
Djdamian: But you just resigned the other day and swore with your life never to have anything to do with the business ever again, isn't that systematic proof that that the business isn't worth it any more? If 20k fuel can net 80k, it means we are still in the boom era of the business. If for anything, that should encourage you to continue with the business and not throw in the towel? Thus far, can you beat your chest and say you've done really well as far as Uber business is concerned? What we are doing here is to establish what is possible under normal circumstances. it's not about an individual, it's about what is humanly possible in general, all things being equal. 3 Likes |

Barbiturate: It's online trip boss n I can't net 60, I'm currently on my last ride, will drop total when I get home n let you know my net from the 26k fuel but you should know most of the trips I did were on surge n reason why I couldn't convert them to offline was because of bolt 20% bonus given to riders. |

TheModerator: Let me address your comments because you seem more reasonable compared to the other two people who mentioned me. My decision to exit the business has nothing to do with Pearl's daily net profit from E-hailing, so let's clarify this upfront. I believe everyone can succeed in the E-hailing business; I'm not validating or invalidating Pearl's statements. My point is that people shouldn't feel upset or frustrated by his comments or use them as a benchmark for their own earnings. Ultimately, success in this business hinges on the type of vehicle and strategic positioning, and your ability to be smart. Different vehicles and strategies yield different results, so I can't confirm or deny his statements because everyone's circumstances vary. My reasons for leaving the business boil down to two main factors. Firstly, it's challenging to find trustworthy partners in this business as an investor. No matter how transparent and open you intend to be, there are always individuals who exploit the situation. The last person I collaborated with almost renewed my faith in the business, but by then, it was too late. Lovely guy he is! Secondly and most importantly, the returns on investment in this business are no longer viable. The high cost of vehicles—imagine purchasing a 7 million Naira vehicle and then earning 40,000 to 50,000 Naira weekly with driver insulting and playing on your intelligence. Moreover, the time it takes to recover your capital, let alone make a profit, is too long. There are other investments offering similar or better returns within a shorter timeframe. Regarding your question about if I have done well in the business, I can't definitively say. E-hailing was intended to diversify my income streams rather than serve as a primary source, so the earnings were primarily used to cover incidental expenses. 3 Likes |
