That time suits me cos of less traffic. I get orders any time of the day on Indrive. Remember, this business always has to do with your location.
If that works for you, fine.

Yes.
With time and experience you will earn more.
"Much respect" started like you, today he's a high flier.

Simple tips :
Dont joke with Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Eat before you leave home.
Avoid stimulants.

Decide if it's day-shift or night-shift.
Don't combine both, else you will be restless the following day.

Combine all three major apps. With time you will decipher which one suits your work ethics.

Understand demand- zones. ( for instance waiting for request in ICM on a Monday morning).

Don't accept useless requests

You must not work every day.

Read and learn from other experienced drivers.

I'll post more as I can.

You're doing well 👏

First of all, let me say I just got on InDrive few days ago. Before that, I was just on Bolt Regular, and I usually wait hours before getting trips. Also, my car is manual. It's not easy driving long hours in lagos traffic with a manual car.

Let me answer your questions...

1. I work 8 hours a day.

2. I buy like 13k fuel each day. My fuel gauge is always around full tank. I started eith a full tank, so I just basically top up everyday.

3. 3- 4 trips a day.

So basically your issue is lack of back to back trips on bolt regular. This is expected cos of the period we're in currently.
What you can do to mitigate this pending when the business picks up is get all apps, on all of them and choose any favourable trip of your choice that pops on any

Avoid dead driving to reposition

Avoid traffic zones (don't be fooled by the pricing)

Your earning calculation should be 10k per hour 5k for 30mins (any trip that doesn't meet this condition please look away)

Give yourself a weekly target and be disciplined about it i.e 130k weekly as a starter (50k savings, 50k for yourself, 30k for car repairs).
Then break the target into days i.e 26k daily excluding fuel for 5days

Only take trips to places you're sure you can get trips at a certain time of the day ( morning, residential to commercial and in the evening, commercial back to residential)

Don't joke with Friday to Monday please and avoid wherever you see lots of drivers parked discussing and looking for trips

Be a master at either long trips or short trips, and stick to one.
It helps monitor your fuel expenditure.

You don't have to please any rider, it's not your responsibility.

Take Wait time seriously.
Most times I tell my riders(in drive) that I've arrived when I'm about 3mins away.

Aim to complete more good trips. Bad trips are also vital for re-positioning.

Have a strong goal, it will drive you to keep chasing e-hailing money.

What ever you do, ensure your vehicle is pristine from September to December.

Don't cheat the system.

It's an honest hustle. One can become a multi-millionaire in few years.

Biodun1929, if drivers still make this much on Uber, then I think you should only drive on it for the next few weeks. Uber is more professional and organised than Bolt could ever dream of. And their app is more user-friendly. It also comes with peace of mind, and you can trust them. Unlike Bolt , that's only for road-hardened drivers, with poor management. Yuck!
I miss Uber, wallahi.

Hmm... How is Uber registration like? Bolt, I went to their office to register. InDrive, everything was done online.

By the way, that screenshot is from InDrive app, not Uber.

Been meaning to write this for a while now.
If you or anyone is serious about getting into this hustle, go back and read the last 500 pages of thread or just before May 29 2023. Or better still read from the beginning for some historical perspective.

Take it as reading a self help book or some business book. There is no question you have that hasn't been hammered left right and centre from all possible perspectives you may think of. It is a repository of all the information regarding the hustle with contributions from rental drivers, owner-drivers and landlords. All your questions have been asked and answered robustly.

When these questions pop up I deliberately ignore them because I feel very strongly that newbies read first before asking questions. Unless it's not that important to the person in which case, no need for me to also expend energy throwing any light on your enquiry.
