At least 16 members of an extended family crushed to death in a fatal road mishap that happened at the weekend in Kano state. Reports says that 11 other people suffered varying degrees of injury in the accident, which occurred at Gwarzo-Kano road. The victims, who were family members of the former managing director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Halilu Getso, were on their way to a naming ceremony when the accident happened.
