Amina Mohammed, a ministerial nominee sent by President Buhari to the senate will now be screened as a nominee from Gombe state and not from Kaduna state. This comes after petitions from some Kaduna state indigenes kicked against her nomination, arguing that she is originally from Gombe and not from Kaduna. She is married to a Kaduna state indigene.
