Good day All! For some of us who are in Abuja and around its environs and an ardent listener of the radio programme on LOVE FM 104.5 anchored by the very kind hearted and dogged presenter; (7.30am - 8.30am Monday to Friday) Double Doctor Ordinary Ahmed Isah GCON (Grand Commander of the ordinary Nigerians), you may have listened to the Friday the 16 day of October edition about the pathetic case of Mr. Dickson Emmanuel. This came as a result of the strike embarked upon by the medical staff last year. He had a surgery on his face in one of the Government hospitals; unfortunately the strike started a few days after his surgery, he was abandoned and the wound was infected because of lack of care. The resultant effect is what he is now faced with. He currently needs 5MILLION naira to enable him undertake another surgery abroad. Please let us show some love, no amount is too small. The man in the picture is obviously going through a hard time but we have to be sure that this case is genuine cos anyone can get pictures like this and solicit for financial assistance. Moreover, there is a new unwritten Nairaland rule against this kind of solicitation. |
