Something happen between my elder brother and him wife and their inlaw last Sunday wey teach me correct lesson. Dem marry on the 3rd of dis month and just one week after their marriage, my brother run comot for house unto say the wife dey nag too much. Na so the wife begin cry dey call my people say her husband no gree show for house for the past 3 days. She talk say she know say na her mouth cause am but she ready to change if my brother come back. She call my momsy, call me, call their pastor. She say don call him number taya but my brother no dey gree pick. If she use another number call am, the moment he hear her voice the line go cut. I later find out say my brother dey go squat with one of him od time friend. Na from there he dey take go work too. When I ask am he tell me say no man fit follow him wife live for house one day without headache. I tell am say e no make sense, say another man fit go dey gbensh the wife for corner o, and na still rainy season we dey. He say e no concern am.
So to cut the tory short, the father inlaw (dat is the girl papa) and him wife drive all the way from PH to Waff Town on Sunday because of this mata. Dem don already inform my bros say dem go show for him house. So after church na so all of us waka go my brother house to go judge mata. Na the mother inlaw first talk. After she don advise dem finish she come tell her daughter to apologize to my bros. The girl kneel down, begin apologize but my bros still dey frown.
Na the father inlaw come handle the mata with one small but mighty drama.
He just look my bros for face, tell am say. "My son, women wahala too much. Na dem be the devil wey we take eyes see. No be only my daughter get bad mouth, even my wife here naim worse pass."
The papa never even talk finish when the wife begin rake. Her voice nearly tear ceiling sef, even my brother open mouth dey look. But as she still dey rake, na so the baba come stand up begin pamper her, dey tease her with sweet words. And na so the woman take calm down too. baba come begin hug him wife like baby for our present. Everything be like film.
Then the baba come look my brother again say "I don talk finish. I don dey go. Bye bye."
