LIFE IS A RACE BUT NOT A CONTEST

Many things crosses our mind everyday, some of them are. . .

>Am i where i'm suppose to be when my mate are ahead of me
>My junior ones in Sec Sch are graduating in university while am still a student
>My mates are in school while am still writing entrance exam
>My mates are using luxury things like car, flashy phones while am not
>My friends are in First Class and am not

What if your friends/mates/neighbors you are thinking of are running their own race and you are busying contesting with them.
LIFE IS A RACE BUT NOT A CONTEST
RACE; I mean 'a progressive movement toward a goal'

Life is really simple but we make it complicated by so many things. Contesting with others is a major one. You will be bitter in life when you compare yourself with others, RUN AT YOUR OWN PACE. In the state of comparison, you might miss your track and go the wrong way you will regret later in future.

We have great men in the world today that they were drop out in school but because they were running their own race at their pace and not contesting with their friends/mates/neighbors, they become the best they want to.

Benard Shaw said and I quote "life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself"

In the process of creating yourself, consider some things. . .
*Set a goal, very important (a life without a goal doesn't worth living)
*Work hard towards achieving your goal (the beautiful things are earned the hard way)
*In pursuit of your goal, don't compare yourself with anyone or else you will miss your track
*Time is limited, so don't waste your time living someone else's life
*Be content with what you have. Greediness is the greatest enemy of a goal mindset person.

Above all, PUT GOD FIRST
Let me drop my pen with this quote
"The sharpest minds often ruins their lives by over thinking the next step, but the dull wins the race with eyes closed"
Always have it in mind that 'LIFE IS A RACE NOT A CONTEST'
