And they say: "Why are not miracles sent down to him from his Lord? Say: "The signs are ONLY WITH ALLAH, and I am only a plain warner." Qur'an 29:50. The signs are only with allahh means only allahh have power for miracles. Therefore a Messenger cannot perform miracles. We have made some of these apostles to excel the others; among them are they to whom Allah spoke, and some of them He exalted by (many degrees of) rank; and We gave clear miracles to Isa son of Marium, and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Qur'an 2:253. According to the quran, Jesus can do what only allah can and that is miracles. No other messenger else is said to be capable of doing miracles in islam. That no messangers can do miracles in islam shows Jesus is more than a messenger. 3 Likes |
