An average reader of the word knows that God does not change(malachi 3:6) neither can He lie (num 23:19), but nowadays,the goings-on in our christian life strong disagree with Gods' immutability. But, does God change? Certainly no,HE does not but we human being change like the shadows. Recently i read a story told by a christian,on how he was accosted by the nigerian police and all they searched yielded no incrimination, yet he was asked to "rogger" which was not to be,because he does not do that for he is a christian! Haha, the policeman had a good laugh at him only to go and hand over to a fellow christian who came boldly before the brother to tell him that he too is a christian, implying that,"rogger" is no issue in christiandom. But,this is not the christianity bequeathed us? What has really happened to the bible tenets which admonished us to respect the government in power for God put them there(rom13:1). If a christian behaves like every other person where is then your character identification? This is just one in a million, and captures the character of an average nigerian christian. But, be assured majority wins is not with God,only those who stand till the end get the crown(mat24:13).
