Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie were at the screening of Inglourious Basterds yesterday as over 5, 000 fans thronged the red carpet to see them.

Its a pity that "Nollywood" still does not have any decent movie to showcase at the Cannes film festival. sad

Well, I'm going for either INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS) or LOS ABRAZOS ROTOS (BROKEN EMBRACES) or TAKING WOODSTOCK for the prestiguous Palme d'Or prize.

Nollywood was missing in Cannes. The Nigerian pavilion had nothing to show the visitors who came to see what the so called second largest movie industry in the world could offer. The Nigerian filmmakers like Faruk Lasaki and Fidelis Duker were in Cannes for opportunities. Some foreign directors they met at the Cannes Film Festival are coming to shoot films in Nigeria.
