Reporting to the Managing Director, this position leads strategic portfolio development, base business news, promotional activity, advertising development and ongoing revenue/profitability analysis and action plans.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Deliver total fiscal-year Bakery(breakfast and lunch) revenue and profit plan
2. Adjust business plans/product mix throughout fiscal year to improve financial results and minimize risks
3. Develop and synthesize Marketing Plan, AOP/Strategic Plan recommendations/projections for the breakfast and lunch bakery portfolio.
4. Lead all new base product development efforts within Bakery portfolio (breakfast/lunch)
5. Lead development and execution of promotional/advertising activity designed to grow total business/market share
6. Manage Consumer Insights, advertising agency and internal resources to guide strategic positioning
7. Manage, evaluate, coach and develop professional staff

Job Specifications
* MBA, First degree in Marketing strongly preferred in addition to ten plus years relevant experience in marketing, marketing communications and advertising
* Strong strategic leadership and create direction to implement the strategy
* Exceptional financial/analytical acumen; understanding of P&L impact of market factors
* High-level communication/presentation skills; ability to inform, influence and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels, including President
* relative thinking ability to develop new products, advertising/consumer promotion concepts, in-store execution
* Must demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision making skills to close potential Plan gaps
* Ability to manage and motivate numerous internal unit and external resources effectively
* Strong managerial, coaching and development skills with junior level professionals
Working Conditions
Marketing Manager is primarily an office-based position, with clean/comfortable work environment and minimal (15-20%) travel required for satisfactory job performance.
