as witnessed first hand by a nairalander, it has become another avenue for police to disturb a pleasant flowing traffic on the road linking KANO and NIGER through Daura the presidents' home town, all in the name of security. the presence of more than five police checks is by no means helping smooth trade flow and easy movement by the road daily users, it has become evident that all the check point are now money extorters, harassers and smooth trade flow disturbers. as witnessed by a nairalander who managed to snap a pictures of the officers situated involved in such acts situated by the road leading to generals farm and those near the road linking to his house. it would be observed that this government promised to stop such acts, so why on earth will it have a safe haven in such a strategic location?
