Is he Lebanese? Asian? or White? If not then no. I agree that Fashola is a competent leader, don't know about inspirational, but then again, Nigeria has been so misrule that competency is seen as inspirational. I believe the correct answer is 47.

People should leave this guy alone. Don't sing his praises before it goes to his head, afterall he hasn't actually achieved anything yet, just laying good foundation and good foundation doesn't necessarily mean a good finished building. Whe he finish, I will be the first to congatulate him, not priase sing him.

Let him finish being Lagos Fashola first before he becomes someone else (Obama). Fashola is still miles behind, to beat Lateef Jakande's record in Lagos. And that is a fact.

Let Fashola finish with Lagos.
Lagos is a country of its own.

I wont hero-worship any politician. Remember they are nothing but politician. The emphasis here is the word "Politician".

Oga. I noticed that shortly after I registered here. It is like Obama this, Obama that! The thing people forget is that after someone like President Bush, anyone with simple common sense could have won that election. I mean, it aint like he had a proper opponent to be honest. What ever credibility Joe Bidden may have had, his woman running mate made a mess of it.

Also this whole fashola thing is just stupid. I don't understand why people can't seem to see that he is doing what he is supposed to do. It is like people praising a teacher for teaching, erm he paid to exactly just that.
Re: Can Fashola Be The Nigerian Obama? by Enquirer: 9:52pm On Jun 02, 2009
doing what one is s(elected) to do is so rare in this country that when it happens, we get carried away and classify it as a miracle.

Fashola is doing well and he was properly elected with only minor irregularities here and there. Other s(elected) governors will do well to follow his example cos a tree doesn't a forest make.

the truth about it all is that fashola compared to others is trying really well but am yet to see where he can be linked to obama.
on the other hand, i do not think it is only fashola, i just came back from east and almost all the states there are having a new facial outlook. things are really happening in our states now more than in the last administration though i don't know about ur states.

May i ask, what has Fashola achieve withing his 2years tenure? what is the difference between you and Obama. what quality does Obama possess that you dont possees? i think if i may say, the only you can say about Obama is been the Africa man ruling America, what has he achieve within 5months of his tenure, has make any changes in America, though he was clamouring for change, his manifestoes is on changes but what have you seen now, then back to Fashola, what has he done. all what you are seen today are the indices of his predecessor, he only develop it, though he is puting his best on ground but that does not saying he is trying, lets give him time to proof himself, remember "all man can stand adversity, but to test man character lets give him power", so lets leave Fashola alone for now, concerning Obama, he is a man like fashola, so forget the sintacio by saying can Fashola be the Nigerian Obama
