onatisi: Actually when evaluated with depth and not just emotional desire for independent growth, Nigeria is not ready for true federalism, We have spent too long using this federal charter to just change overnight. It is a progressive effort that would start with the building of strong infrastructure and judicial processes and the remodelling of our constitution, otherwise what would ensue is an abuse of power at the lower state and LG levels. |

If that is the case, in 2019, will you also vote out Buhari for not fulfilling ANY of his campaign promises? As a concerned Nigerian, I can say I appreciate the budget. My major concern is the huge deficit. Nigeria's current external debt profile is N1.4 trillion, accumulated in 10 years. In only 2016, we would be adding another N0.9 trillion. Additionally, we would be using 20% of the budget to settle the interests on debt, which will surely increase next year. In any case, I stand solidly behind PMB to ensure that there is proper implementation of the budget. A proper implementation will justify the increasing debt profile. There are many things to love about the budget, I only hope we will start seeing the dividends by the third quarter of the year. God bless Nigeria! -Lord |

sweetgala:There is nothing difficult about it. There is tension already in the land and all tribes .every region already desires to have a national conference on how this nation is to be structured but the only thing keeping this nation together is the oil and the money .believe me ,the day Nigeria oil becomes useless it wont take 6 months before the whole structure crumbles . 1 Like |

sanmibukunmi: Buhari has NO moral authority needed to charge any SINator or representaTHIEF to be prudent in spending OUR money. Why? He is just as bad a looter as the rest of them. He simply knows how to PRETEND to the general citizens. The power brokers in the senate & HoR know and will expose him if he dares overstep. Go and read the story of Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini of FIFA, to understand better why Buhari can do NOTHING beyond empty noise and sound bites. This budget is just huff huff high on rhetoric and little on substance. To the discerning minds we are just dancing in circle, this budget is lacking in specifics and doesn't inspire confidence aside the emotions of his followers! We in for a long ride! |

Good speech! Ride on Mr. President. We're right with you. But you see, you can't do it alone. When your party were busy sabotaging the efforts of the previous Govt, You were happy trading Liea to the populace. You even boycotted NEC meetings for selfish reasons. Now you want the support of others. We will support you but be rest assured that The Moral Burden preached at the Senate will catch up with you all in due course. I BELIEVE IN GOD! I BELIEVE IN LEADERSHIP! CARRY ON! MR. PRESIDENT. We Love You. |
