when they say 'messiah' the Jews know who that is, and they understand their prophecy more than you. Yes, All the kings in isreal are messiah, there is one messiah God promised, God say He will anoint this messiah Himself in isaiah 61:1.

I can concede that the Jews know their prophecy more than I do.

But the question is .... Will YOU accept that the Jews know their prophecy more than you do? Would you? From there we can continue.

yes, I do not know the Messianic prophecy more than the Jews but one thing is certain, the Jews are still waiting for the messiah. What does this have to do with the names you mention ? Read here http://www.jewfaq.org/m/mashiach.htm tell me what you understand , and then we will continue, when you understand this prophecy of the Jews we are talking.

Hey Dalaman
To know the correct (true was better) religion, the seeker needs to first determine what is right/true/correct. Where that truth/right/and correction is, that is the correct place or rather, what they should live by.

Religion is a strong word. It can be in existence without conviction. People do a lot of things to fit in - or for whatever reason. Faith or belief is what you mean (I hope)

I've been seeing many theist here (christians and muslims, and sometimes catholics vs non catholics) arguing about how their religion is true and those that do not accepted their religion are either blind, arrogant or foolish. What I have never heard from any of the theist arguing in support of one religion or the other is providing an objective way through which we will all test and know which religion is true. How do we objectively know that Islam is true and Christianity is false and vice versa? Where is the objective test to prove any of these religious claim? What methodology can be used to test and verify it? How can other religions also be shown to be false, what methodology do they need to fail for us to know that they are false? Instead of repeating what you have been coerced and indoctrinated with since childhood, why don't they theist here do something different and show us with objective evidence why their religion is true and other religions are false.

Gautama Buddha reputedly stated the following:

"Believe nothing, O monks, merely because you have been told it ... or because it is traditional, or because you yourselves have imagined it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings – that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide. "

Of course there can never be an objective test to determine the veracity of one religion over the other. Seeing as God has not demonstrably handed a codex of life to any living being, then it transpires that all religions are the traditions of men and more to the point, they are all false.

Ehn eh! Alhamdullahi, I finally bought a new phone yesterday but I didn't get what I had in mind. I wanted "OnePlus 2" but due to scarcity I bought Tecno Phantom 5.

My dad accompanied me, so when I got to Banex Plaza(a popular phone sales market, it was once hit by Boko boys). For my mind, today na today, I was already smiling. We got to the first shop, some girls were the attendants, then I asked "do you have OnePlus 2?! grin" they all replied "No!!! kiss", I then replied "Issorai". We proceeded to the next shop, one Hausa guy was there, "Malla you get OnePlus 2?!" he replied "Wallahi I neper hear that one o! Na Tecano make am? shocked" I was already vexing! So I left his shop.

We went almost round the market asking for this phone, everyone kept one saying they've never heard of this product. It was very disappointing and disheartening that a city like Abuja doesn't have that phone, the main brands they had was Samsung, iPhone, Tecno, Huawei, Infinix and Gionee.

The most annoying part was when we entered one shop owned by one Ibo guy, I asked "OnePlus 2?! angry embarassed" and the guy replied "Nna 3! grin grin" I was like "WTH? undecided angry" I just left and concluded to buy Tecno, the phone no too bad sha!

Bros mi, the phone make bad sense. It can shoot 4k videos(higher than 1080p, also known as full HD), it means the phone can shoot super clear HD videos.

Yeah! Those are the reigning brands in Nigeria today.

But seriously, they need to bring in other brands o. Some of those phones with strange names have very nice specs.

grin grin grin grin Camon C8 is a nice phone o. The camera is better than mine and it'll get the latest android version this year(Android Mashmallow). Concerning the multitasking, you need to be careful with the apps you use to clear your RAM, it depends. I'll suggest whenever your RAM is full, just clear all.

You can always give me your phantom 5 if you are tired of it..Hehehe.

No problem, just pray they won't steal it. In fact that, I won't allow it.

Join any demonic society and try to harm any core Christian you will see the power of Christ protecting his child. Or become a born again Christian today and hold fast to the faith and see if internal peace, happiness and protection you will get is not different from those of other religions. You will know that the yoke in Christ Jesus is easier, better and lasting.

God bless you

Hello to all.

Religion and Spirituality are not one and the same thing. Belonging to a religious group, denominations or movement, is not a requirement to serve/worship God. GOD did not create any church/temple and is therefore not concerned with whatever labels we give ourselves.

Look at the Universe. The sun shines for all of us, irrespective of our religious inclinations. When it rains, it affects everyone Christians and muslims alike. Religion is therefore inconsequential. What matters is how we live in accord with the laws of GOD.

If you are a Buddhist and you sow Potato in a fertile soil, you will reap Potatoes in greater quantity than your original seed (other things held constant). Likewise, if you are a muslim and you sow a mango, the earth will not refuse to produce mango because you are muslim. You will reap Tomatoes according to your seed. Hence the determinant factor here is not your religion, but the simple principle of sowing and reaping.

This analogy shows that what matters is how we conform to the Laws of GOD applied in the whole cosmos, and not our religion. If any religion was indispensable for salvation, God would have made that religion available everywhere at everytime. If not, some individuals born in a certain period of time or locality when/where that religion is not available would be disadvantaged, and it contradicts the Justice of GOD.

Thus, we should struggle to bestir our spirit and listen to the voice of GOD with our heart, for our heart is equipped with the necessary tools to perceive the Truth and worship God.

I wish you all blessings.

Prayer studies. Quite a few have been performed and none have shown any difference in health, wellbeing, or speed of recovery from terminal illness, between those prayed for and those not prayed for. That should tell us something.

"The American Heart Journal has published the best (as in largest and methodologically most accurate) study so far of the effect of intercessory prayer, and it has shown – as any sensible person would have known before spending $2.4 million and a decade to actually do the study – prayer fails to make any difference whatsoever.

The study was conducted by a team led by Harvard Medical School cardiologist Herbert Benson, who is sympathetic to the idea that prayer has healing effects, and funded in large part by the Templeton Foundation, an organization devoted to the scientific improvement of our understanding of spirituality (whatever that latter phrase may mean).

Benson’s group studied 1,802 patients undergoing coronary bypass, divided into three groups: patients who were prayed for (by three different type of congregations) and knew it, people who were prayed for but did not know whether that was the case, and a group who was not prayed for. The results? 59% of the patients in the first group were affected by post-operative complications, as opposed to 51% of the second group; moreover, 18% of people prayed for suffered serious complications, against 13% of the non-prayed for group. Such differences were not statistically significant, and at any rate they would go against the hypothesis: if anything, being prayed for, or knowing you are being prayed for, makes things slightly worse! (As Jon Stewart pointed out, the real troublesome finding here is that more than half of the patients had complications, no matter what group they were assigned to...)"
