The Federal Government blames the Oil Companies for Niger Delta crisis and submitted that negligence on the part of oil led to oil spillage, gas flaring, and water and air pollution, which in turn engendered the current youth restiveness in the region. But the nation's oil producers blamed the Federal Government's penchant for greed for the continued gas flaring in the oil-rich Niger Delta region. Unfortunately, while this blame game goes on, the indigenes of the Niger Delta bear the brunt while the whole country suffers.

So I ask, Govt or oil firms, who is to blame for Niger Delta crisis?

Both are to be blamed for the Niger Delta Crisis, with the Nigerian government taking a large chunk of the flak!

The Niger-Delta terrorist are to blame. If they were fighting against environmental pollution they'd have used a little of the booty to clean up a small area of their locality by now.

Tompoma, Asari, Gbomo-Gbomo and their string pullers like Nkyo Briggs, Edwin Clarke are the ones to blame.
