I lived in Kporghor a community in Ogoni for 2years. I have been to Bayelsa Delta and other NDstates, I be confirm PH boy. The Amesty has not made ND better, it has enriched a very microscopic few, the Amnesty was not designed to work but to settle criminals. There is need to draw up an enduring all inclusive plan, the environment and locals need to be catered for.
Thank you very much. Allow those wey never travel dey run their dumb brain online.

OBJ was a far tougher leader who took a hardline stance against the militants. I suggest that Buhari supporters go ask the former leader how he faired during the Niger Delta insurgency & read up on that conflict itself, especially when it escalated. Maybe then they'll have a rethink.
guy leave story. Nothing will happen worse than Nigerians are currently passing through. You make it sound like what those guys are doing is justifiable. Billions have been spent on the SS region but nothing had come of it. Whose fault? Instead of blowing up the houses and properties of their leaders who have corruptly appropriated their commonwealth they are busy blaming the North. Fools. They will be annihilated soon.

South South should ask their Governors, Senators and Representatives what they are using their allocation for, apart from the fact that they get more allocation than all states in the Federation, they still have a Niger Delta Ministry......The question we should ask is where is the impact of all the funds allocated....simple it has been embezzled.

It's time we all wake up to the reality. Tompolo, Asari Dokubo and other militants head are just using the Government to become more wealthy without any effect on the citizens.

Bro, I will never condone any act of treason or thievery be it in any form or from any tribe however, like you said, one must thread with caution when dealing with these guys.

I fault your assertion that these militants love life and can't risk being killed. I work in a very hostile environment and these guys are heartless. There is a silent ongoing war between them and JTF and almost on a daily basis, they either kill JTF or be killed by JTF. Some of them we have encountered are Satan personified. Be that as it may, they should not negotiate with one terrorist group and then boast to wipe out another. All should be dealt with accordingly. GEJ tried to wipe BH and he was accused of trying to reduce the population of the north. Same govt is trying to decimate militants and negotiate with BH, whose cause of fighting no one knows.

Food for thought
I hate it when dudes imply from what they post that Buhari is partial. Buhari may wanna negotiate with BH(the truth of which has not been substantiated) but the basis for the negotiation is not to pally with BH or subscribe to what they want. They are simply gonna ask them to release the Chibok galz
. That's simple. Because if the FG does not make any move it's guys like you that will first shout that Buhari is insensitive. Now he is making a move you are equating that to a pally and negotiation. These NG MILITANTS are criminals. And what do you do to criminals? Especially the unrepentant ones?

Why do I want to join issues with you? Anyways, for the purpose of enlightenment let me explain. Maybe because I speak Pidgin, you think you are smarter. I am by any measure fulfilled at my age and it was by the Grace of God. I speak for the others who were not so lucky, with all their education due to the past governments thievery which PDP accounted for 16 of those years.

I am not justifying the actions of the militants, but you under estimate these people at your own peril. Those of us who live here in the SS and have loved ones who worked in the security services and the oil industry during those perilous times fully understand. These militants may not be as blood thirsty as Boko Haram, but they are far better equipped, operate in a region that is practically difficult to navigate and conquer comparrd to the flat arid combat zone of the North East, and are far more dangerous. There is a reason the Late Yaradua adopted the carrot-&-stick approach with these guys, edpecially after they practically shut down oil production in the region. Hell, the Nigerian military and police force created the famed Navy Special Boat Service (SBS) and Police Anti Terror Squadron (ATS-CTU), both elite Special Operation units, just because of these guys.

So if gung ho Buhari cant even take out Boko Haram, what makes him think he can take on a 2nd insurgenxy with an even deadlier foe operating in a region that generates a huge chunk of Nigeria's wealth? Goodluck with that.
