ive been trying to learn right now i can understand 90% of it. but im able to speak only around 30 to 50 %. i tried reading igbo dictionaries but most of them were not in my dialect. |

i dont know what my dialect is. i heard someone say it depends on where you live in Nigeria. for me thats in between awka and onitsha. does that help. |

It might be difficult to find a dictionary in your dialect because igbos in general have numerous dialect.The dialect in igbo dictionaries is what is regarded as 'igbo izugbe' or literary igbo.It is a combination of different igbo dialects. |

Oh, I speak your dialect!!! I speak Onitsha Igbo (which has to be the best dialect anyway - none of that anaghi stuff) I can help to the best of my ability if you want |

a lot of the words are not in my dialect in those threads and when they are the words are usually things i already know. |
