vybzkartel:You are living in Paradise bro. That you pray always doesn't make you a good man, it shows that you are like the rest of us seeking miracles on one hand and other hand trying as much as possible to subdue everyone around us. You are both the Sadducees and Pharisees. Nobody wants to pray with someone that rubs it in their facesnevery now and then how prayer less he/she is. Watching telenovela till 10 isn't bad. Not waking up before six, is it affecting her work and child. Being caring and responsible is left for your wife to decide. You come across as a NAG and an overbearing louse. Loosen up dude. 9 Likes |

vybzkartel: You are funny. I do not know where to start, how does one explain to fish about life outside the water. You sound like an anankastic personality . Since you are so prayerful why not make this prayer "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change" Waking up at 3.00 is late if you need to be somewhere for 2.30 am otherwise you are being ridiculous. As a matter of fact waking up early is a sign /symptom of depression/anxiety disorder which seems to be YOUR problem in some variaton and you wish to impose that on others. 5 Likes |

[quote author=Koolking post=42852930]The rate of laziness by Nigerians is alarming. Most Nigerian girls are sheer lazy. It's only on social media people claimed what they aren't. Nigerians are despicable set of people. Always claim living the life of prince and princesses who live in castles with all the privileges of life in their becks and calls. How could Africans (Nigerians) lashed mercilessly at the op for expressing his discomfort at his wife's tradition of waking up by 6am? Nigeria is not Telemundo Even if the Op wife is a full time housewife (she does not work or own her business), a sensible and responsible wife who knows the husband wakes up by 4-5am to leave for work, should also wake up with the husband to assist him leave early. When the hubby leaves, she can go back to her sleep and wakes up as it pleases her. She can assist in warming up his bath water, make tea/prepare breakfast if the hubby is the type who eats early. How about the kids? Preparing them for school? If you can't make simple sacrifices to keep your home, then you are not married. You should stay single and do as it pleases you. Majority opinions of NLers on this thread reek of juvenility, irresponsibility and fecklessness. Opinions like these here makes me believe marriage is a scam. Op, your wife is just IRRESPONSIBLE Op u see how someone has subtly insulted your wife over a non issue. U had better grow up and stop throwing up unnecessary tantrums in your matrimonial home. Don't resort to help online over issues u can handle as a man. Your topic still takes the crown as one of the craps spilled daily on NL. 3 Likes |

GGGB07:taking care of a child, tidying the house and cooking is plenty work but if u tink it isn't enough find something for her to do. as for the 'rethink' when you were saying for better for worse you didn't mean it right? because people with issues ain't even rethinking. By the way, who is that woman that is making you feel she will do better? The grass always looks greener on the other side till u get there. 5 Likes |

Koolking:so because we don't think like you we are juvenile, irresponsible and feckless. and because she doesn't wake b4 6pm she is iresponsible not minding she can keep her job and take care of her child. she even does house chores till 8pm as op mentioned in one of his comments. I guess you are perfect and d only non-despicable Nigerian. people even gave examples with themselves and u don't think it counts. i pity whoever u are married to. 6 Likes |

Mr op, enough has been said. You are the one with issues and u clearly don't love your wife..you sound like grew up in ur village where ur father prolly forced you to go to farm at 4am daily and now you're angry at the world if that is not the case then ur really behaving like someone who needs to see a counsellor, you are clearly looking for issues where there are none! Ur wife is ur partner not ur slave. She probably doesn't pray with you cos she feels you are a hypocrite, if you are Christlike like u claim, I don't see why you Are making ur wife' s life unbearable. She even prefers watching telenovelas to chatting with u after work everyday cos u are increasing her blood pressure. You don't need to pray at 4am with her everyday.you can pray at 6am when she wakes up, it won't make u a little man with no balls. Learn to appreciate the wife God has given you and don't make her look evil to the world cos she hasn't done anything wrong...it's not like she forces you to cook while she watches telemundo or forces you to do chores while she sleeps.please u need a counsellor cos u will break ur marriage with this baseless matter! Treat her with respect, trust me she wud be the one waking you @3am to pray. 2 Likes |
