All DGs in are parastatals are laggards, in fact they are one of the problems we have in the country.

For instance, NAFDAC DG was not famous until Dr. Akuliyi came on board, and she performed excellently. If we have active DGs in our parastatals they will impact positively on the citizen. All they do is to compromise because of the "EGUNJE" they receive.
Standard organization of Nigeria (SON) should get a better DG to curb the high rate of fake products in the country, also, special focus should be on NAFDAC, TETFund, ITF, NIPC, BPE, NTA, (when Senator Ben Bruce was in NTA, he performed excellently), TETFund, Nigeria copyright commission (NCC) and NIPC should receive special attention too. God bless Nigeria.

What's killing d masses is the cumulative impact of five+ years of corruption under GEJ. It could hav been worse if the corruption had continued.

Useless agencies

You are not serious! shocked if only you knew what they do? Without TETFUND for example, many serious interventions in higher institution development would have been grossly absent. They have trained over 5,000 Nigeria lecturers abroad. I speak because I am a recipient of Tetfund award based on merit.

Chai!, some of them are waiting seriously for the 2016 budget to be approved so that they can swallow all the millions they have embedded inside the budget unfortunately there dream have been cut short.

I love this. All plan to loot through the budget has been squashed. The good thing is that, some of them will later come out like Aluko if any of the new directors decide to eat the money alone.

Why do we have a need for NDDC?
When it only leads to more corruption, and more workers on government payroll
Why not just share the money budgeted for the Nddc for projects , to the Niger delta states?

And give the money to your State Governors? What have they done with the 13% derivation fund so far? Corruption or not, each agency will play its part (however small) in improving the people's livelihood.

You add up those multi-lateral trickles and you'd get a pool.
But you waiting for the state governors to come do these intervention projects will surely take a longer while.

A step in d ryt direction if only competent hands will be employed to oversee d functions of these agencies....I just hope their replacements won't be chosen strictly on the basis of political considerations... We need technocrats that can revolutionize these agencies to better serve the masses!

Sorry most of these agency or parastatals are non existing and are useless they should not only sack them some of them should erase and merge with other agency simply to avoid exodus joblessness for their staffs therefore I support their removal they are of no use.

All these NBC, BBG, CCG, VOA, VOD or VIA etc What is their usefulness NAFDAC should also be dealt with seriously they have over stepped their boundary so much to a point that if you make mistake of going their for the silly non sense NAFDAC craps called number without knowing anyone in rheir your name is sorry.
