so there is no printing press in nigeria? where is the common sense in this?

You ask people to always patronize made in Nigeria things. But 90% of the movies shown in your cinema are foreign movies. You want to print a book you went abroad to do it. How is this growing the Naira? If this is not hypocrisy i don't know what is

I understand you bros, but there are things that if you get explanation for, you'll see no reason for your attack.

Take for example, my Chaplain/Priest Fr Herb in school/UNEC then had all his books being printed abroad, and that's by his former student at no cost. No making excuse for him because I made same observation when I downloaded the soft copy and saw the address.
However, I expect you to fault him based on the content of his message.

[size=13pt]The fact that his purchases are not 100% Nigerian does not take away credit from the idea that we must continue to shift our purchases towards Nigerian from non-Nigerian and does not erase everything done by him and others to encourage this trend.

:: Buying made in Aba shoes.
:: Creating space for made in Aba shoes to be sold in Silverbird malls nationwide
:: Public buying of Innoson Car. Good promotion for the Nigerian car maker.

It is foolishness to call a man that will invest his hard-earned money and not oil block money, into buying made in Naija and providing logistics for made in naija to thrive, a hypocrite, when he has put his money, and continues to put his money/resources, where his mouth is, simply because obviously not 100% of his purchases are currently Nigerian.

Is there anyone who has put his money (or even govt money) where his mouth is on this issue like Mr. Bruce? They have neither put their own money (nor govt allocations) where their #buyNaija mouths are and yet it is Ben Murray-Bruce that attracts such dubious and fraudulent criticisms.

I make bold to say that folks found on this track are kantankerous souls not committed to any form of worthy ideal but are only driven by a dark heart against anything that seems to shine bright and good, which does not seem to be coming out of the political clique they wished it was coming out from.

Am fully APC but doesn't mean I condemn everything from an opposition member, bruce cannot only patronize naija alone but he is pushing for something that every one of us should emulate.the country is grounded because we couldn't save due to corruption and lazy dependence on oil now that the oil is no longer lucrative let's stop blaming jonah or Pdp because even those in APC now we're part of those who shared the money, and anyone blames Buhari for the present economic woes Then the person is being mischievous.. The only way out now is to support what the senator is doing rather than look for his faults.we must patronize our own Buhari cannot force anybody to buy our oil at our own prize, let us leave politicking and work our way out the elections are over,no kind of condemnation and blackmail can change anything...it's good to criticise a govt to keep it on its toes even as members of the party but let's do that constructively else they wouldn't take us seriously. you can't be in a ship and keep praying that the ship should sink because you think the wrong captain is sailing it...God bless the federal Republic of nigeria

Such a weak and Shameless attempt to derail people from the issue. Read through your totally childish comment (filled with fancy and unnecessary grammar) and tell me how you have explained the issue been discussed. You ask everyone to patronize Nigerian items yet something as simple as printing a book you jump on the plane and give it to an American company to do it. Tell me Mr Sabinus how isn't this hypocrisy

Op,to patronize made in Nigeria goods and services doesn't necessarily mean that you must source all you consume from within Nigeria. There's no country in this world that depends 100% on goods and services sourced within that country. Cut the man some slack... He's after all a human being and he's doing a good job with his campaign.
Re: Senator Ben Bruce And Unknowing Hypocrisy by jayloms: 9:02pm On Feb 22, 2016
Bro, #buyNaija is a good concept no doubt, but, for the chief campaigner and #commonsense crooner to print his book #outofnaija in d selfsame period of his pro-naija campaigns, speaks volumes.

I'll pipe down for now, maybe somebody in the states volunteered to cover the printing expense. Howbeit, my intuition tells me, he's all for the publicity and prolly got careless on this instance.

That he purchased some Aba foot wears and one innoson car and displayed them on twitter, doesn't convince me that he WANTS to buy naija, but, I hope I'm wrong.

I just have this intuition that, he's tryna make us believe he's doing what he's preaching, even though, he would rather opt for foreign goods/services.

Insults rather than arguing sensibly clearly shows you have little logical coherent points to make. How does your useless post explains away the utter hypocrisy ben the mor0n bruce showed? Your pix only locks him up more, he should have first take a good look at himself and blame himself for our falling currency. Ordinary printing of books your lord m0ron bruce cannot do in Nigeria yet you are almost convulsing over double faced liar who neither knows you exist or even cares of your unintelligent argument.

I was seriously happy the day I heard he was nominated and happier when he was declared the winner, but all those things don fade away since he was sworn in. Ben10 political office is not your calling, you have no privacy, so you can preach a belief and do otherwise in your bedroom, your sins will call/find you out.

If you understand common sense and making logical statements you would know majority of ordinary Nigerians do not use foreign products. In fact the currency problem would affect mainly Nigerians with elitist taste buds. So most ordinary NIgerians actually invest more in made in Nigeria than your two faced lying scoundrel who couldn't even publish ordinary book in Nigeria yet wants others to do as he says not as he do. Only fools cannot see beyond his hypocrisy. Please, the majority of Nigerians use foreign products. Where do all our TVs come from? What about all our phones? In 2010 we imported =N=365 billion worth of rice. I hear it is now around 800bn
All those clothes in the boutiques where do you think they come from?
What about millions of cars littered on the road. All the flash drives we use and the memory cards,
where do you think they come from?
What about air conditioners and most fans?
The generators we use, where do you think they come from?
The bicycles driven all over Nigeria too.
The baby clothes and shoes, where do you think they come from?
Because you totally failed to address what I previously published, I choose to deliberately post it again here below.
The picture at the bottom is to shed light on the wisdom of attempting to make this a GEJ vs PMB issue when Mr. Bruce himself says the answer is not to blame PMB but to patronize naija
