Why are people here celebrating the states with he highest applicants?? it's the states that have the highest failure rate that would eventually have the highest number of applicants 1 Like |

I hate it when normal, sensible news threads are open and it becomes a means of tribal horn locking. I don't see what warrants statements like 'yorubas lead the way', 'ibos always on top'. Let's grow up guys |

EasternActivist: In case you just came back to Nigeria, The last Jamb result and even the last WAEC result, same IMO came out tops. It is not a fluke. In IMO, education is serious business. Everybody, I mean everybody wants to be educated. That is why IMO currently has the highest number of Professors in Nigeria. Go and check. 1 Like |

odomanis: I am not arguing that, but coming in this thread that doesn't bother on performance but registration didn't call for that kind of celebration. Of course IMO will be celebrated if by the end of the jamb examination they do came our first but not on this. It calls for more concern than celebration. |

The north has the lowest number of educated people and yet they still think the presidency and all other leadership positions are their birth right. They ran the country to the ground. Id*iots who can't even lead themselves. They've been in highest positions in government more than other ethnic groups, they also have the highest monthly federal allocations (they fraudulently inflated) and yet northern states are the most emperished in the country! This is not fair. |

Instead of those Eastern, Western and Southern applicants to Apply in schools in Zamfara and Adamawa, they won't. All they know is BH and their Bomblast! Bomblast!! Bomblast!!! They reason as if there are no more humans living anymore in the Northern States. #Exclusive Team Northern School Student from the West... 1 Like |

evansvenus:It means alot of you fail Jamb last year or didn't meet the cut off point, Requirements of specified universities and end up enrolling for Jamb again with your juniors. Also the total carrying capacity of all our Nigeria tertiary institution(Both poly, Universities, COC etc) is just about 400,000. But everyone want to go to University. University will only occupy about 40% of that figure. Some universities are mostly based on Catchment area even in the East. You heard of the story of a lady denied admission in University of Abia because she is from Anambra state despite scoring 286. Let's just say 50,000 applicants(About Half) from IMO would be admitted. The rest will sit for JAMB again next year with yet again their Juniors thereby skyrocketing the number of applicants from that region yet again. Judging from your tone and choice of word you seem Young and probably a Jambite from IMO state. Good luck! You need it, Or you will be just another number to brag about next year. |

Idrismusty97: and you really have to quote me to spew bunkum?are u pained or wat?on the contrary the high statistics of jambites from imo state depicts youths from imo state aspire for tertiary education hitherto reducing the number of touts, like the "owo da" screaming mofos from the sophisticated region imolites are making thier school certificate exams,it is only when you have waec or neco, that you can apply for jamb imo state has the highest number of proffessors in the country!this can also be a contributory factor we value education in the south east, especially in imo state, even while they keep failing jamb, they are resilient..unlike those that resort to "omonile" in the sophisticated region after the ist attempt.. Imo state has the highest literacy rate in nigeria...deal with it hater! |

I know osun state will be there, as I am about to check here and to those that said is because they fail every year that person is kind stupid note! I didn't mention any name the reason y osun made the higher list is that their parent is educated and they know well about education, its make me to remember my first jamb result that I scored 180 my mum said u are going to redo it that am not going anywhere in that year so those u people saying thrash u better leave it for lawman. |
