One is Oscar winner, the other an aspiring Oscar winner. The former hasn’t made much blockbuster movies compared to the latter who has a lot of blockbuster movies which have grossed more than $6.6 billion at the global box office.

But they have two things in common, They have both been singers and are black. Jamie Foxx and Will smith are not known to be close friends neither are they known to be enemies but they have a common ground. they are supportive of the black Americans. But Will smith is seen to have taken his too far when he decided along with his wife to boycott the Oscars citing lack of diversity in the award process.

His action has been made fun of by Jamie Foxx who had told him saying “hashtag act better,” instead of complaining about not being nominated for the oscars at the American Black Film Festival Awards. He reminds him that Denzel Washington and himself had won it as blacks and so was not a big deal.

Smith has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards,and has won four Grammy Awards. received Best Actor Oscar nominations for Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness.
