Reports making the rounds indicate that four students of the University of Lagos (Unilag) have been arrested on allegation that they had a hand in the death of Jacob Eniola, a 300 level student who committed suicide on Saturday 19 March, 2013.
Eniola Jacob, a 300 level Microbiology student was said to have died in the Biobaku Hall of Residence after ingesting the poisonous substance, Sniper. He was there after rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, where he died on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
Latest reports indicate that some students of the campus fellowship where he worshipped went on a condolence visit at his residence and were arrested by policemen from Ifo Police Station.
The chairman of the Graduate Forum of the Cherubim and Seraphim Students Fellowship (aka Unification) who spoke with a lazyreporta.com correspondent, said that “four (4) Exco Members of the fellowship had been placed under arrest illegally at the IFO police station after paying a condolence visit to the parents of the deceased student of Unilag who committed suicide on Sunday 20th March 2016.” According the Chairman of the Graduate Forum, the allegation against the arrested students is that they forcefully injected Jacob Eniola with the insecticide, accusing them of being cultists.
“The issue now is why would the parents of the deceased place his fellowship members on arrest for paying a condolence visit?” the Unification Chairman queried. “To worsen the case, men of the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SAS) have been sent to IFO police station from Unilag claiming that the case is a murder case.”
The names of those arrested are:
1. Awe-obe Raphael (President of the fellowship).
2. Iwerima Jacob (Secretary of the fellowship)
3. Aramowo Stephen (Member)
4.Adeboye timothy (Member)

Mynd44 please move this to fp. I know the president of the fellowship. He is their pastor. The fellowship is c n s unilag chapter. The president was formerly on dreads before he cut it. I personally know iwerima also. He is a scholar in maths. They donot have a hand in this case and I can personally vouch for them. Let the police come to the sub block on unilag, in front of the Ulsu speaker's office is where their fellowship is being held.
