have tried to re configure the set up delete the old set up and set up a new one

Dude, that's a compatibility error problem! Try to check your 3G broadband manual for Windows OS compatibility and do the installation based on that!

restart laptop and keep pressing F8 until you see advanced option
select safe mode and press enter you'd see loading drivers wait for
it to finish then uninstall the software

Simply google and download any of the free uninstallers online.
Some programs sometimes don't wanna leave ür system.
Then uninstall the software with.
Try getting revo uninstaller. It works like charm.

Hello every body. Somebody should pls help me out here. I send my mails through the compose mail box of my gmail and ymail because i couldn't configure the microsoft mailer that comes with my hp cq laptop.
But for the past three weeks, i have not been able to send mails with an attached document(though i can send mails without any attachment). Each  time i try to send a mail with an attached document i get an error message with a suggestion that there was either a proxy or firewall problem. I have tried both etisalat, airtel  and mtn monthly plans in the hope that the proxy issue suggested will be addressed, to no avail and i don't recall resetting my firewall. Any help/suggestion on how to resolve my mailing problem and on how to set-up my microsoft installed mailer will be greatly appreciated.

I have this recurring problem with my laptop, a Compaq Presario CQ56.I access the net via MTN Fastlink. Most times within the first few minutes into use it begins to hang and all applications will indicate 'unable to respond'. This makes the use of the system unpleasurable.Even when I'm not using the internet it keeps happening.What could be the problem?

when i install a software on my laptop the shortcut icon does not appear on the desktop anymore. This wasn't the case . It still does not appear when i tick the option of a desktop shortcut icon. When i copy and paste the shortcut icon, once the system shuts down and restarts, the icon disappears.
Somebody please help!!!

explain the type of efficiency you want to improve your pc generally there is software to do such things

efficiency of pc is determined with lots of things eg ram, speed of the processor etc not a software

you never answered ZIM's question. what shows up when you try to install skype? do you have a skype account? (sometimes when you attempting to install skype from their website you will be required to have a skype account before the installation will go through)

you will have to go to your computers manufacturers website to download your computers [b] specific make and model's [/b]bios and use it to reflash the bios on the computer.

coupled with what Zimm said you might also (if you know what you are doing) want to unplug the connector and plug it back in because sometimes it comes undone due to the computer being dropped or bumped hard. If none of these work you will need a replacement touchpad

you might have a malware that is hiding your icons. Search for malwarebytes install it and run it to cure any potential malware then you will have to go to folder options to show all hidden folders. Then un-hide the icons which were hidden. Then hide the folders that should be hidden.
or maybe you just dont have admin rights like ZIMM said

i had this same issue with a computer at my office the other day and i thought it was a hard drive issue so we went ahead and purchased a hard drive but the same thing happened which lead us to believe that it's the processor that was having issues. Someone suggested turning off Intel SpeedStep Technology which seems to have solved the issue for people with the same issue. i will try that soon and get back to you as soon as i figure out how to turn that off.

update: you can turn off intell speed step by pressing F2 when you are booting up then go to the "advanced tab and it's the 3rd option . you will look at the different options and find "intellspeed step technology" turn this off and your computer should stop freezing

I can't send mails with a document attached. Each time i try to do so,i get a response that my system has a proxy or firewall problem. How can i address this problem?

plz guys help me. Sometimes wen i turn on my laptop, it would turn on but then wen i repeat the same process it will not start. What hapns is that the power would turn on but nothing shows on the screen, not even a black screen plz help me,
