you stick with the way it is or rollback to
starter edition or visit a shop to ask
if they can upgrade to 2gb. for ultimate optimal
performance its needs 2gb or more

check no cd in drive

How to perform an ATX reset:

Disconnect the power from your computer.
If possible remove the battery and external devices.
Hold the power button for about 15 seconds
Put the battery back in the computer
Reconnect the power
Press the power button to
turn on your computer

If this does not solve the power issue it may be
the hardware its self which is faulty and will
need repairing or replacing.

I mistakenly damaged my f12 button which is the wireless button.now I cant turn the wireless on resulting on my inability to browse.

I even tried to replace the whole keyboard but I was told its not possible.

Is there any other option on how the wireless can be turned on?

open start and go to accessories-acessibility and choose on screen keyboard. Press the F12 on it...

Plz look for the installation directory in PROGRAM files Folder and delete it.

Control panel > Windows Mobility centre > Turn wireless ON

Pls ppl in the house. My Hp probook always freezes anytime I connect to the internet whether through wlan or bluetooth, no program responds, I just switch it off with the power button. Apart from that i think the computer works fine. Please what should I do ? [color=#006600][/color]

What happens is that after pressing the power button, the system boots and when it is time for the screen to show, it turns blank and the message that appears before the screen goes blank is; Start Windows with its normal parameters.

Go to contol panel and click sound. Check to see if you have not disable the speakers.

The speaker is enable.

Bro, it might be difficult to get your system in the market o. hope its only the hinge that is broken? you might get one that can fit your lappy @computer village or Alaba, if not, the system chasis would need to be changed totally. i cant give you a price, cos its @ the discretion of the seller, just bargain well.
China replaceable batteries are sold between 4.5 - 5.5k. i ain't sure you can see original one for ya lappy o.

Glues are not advisable, it wouldn't even hold the parts together and its a movable part of your system, even if it holds, it wouldn't last.

what the spec of your machine?
i hope you've got your video driver properly installed and up to date?
check the readme file on the game's cd to see the minimum requirements if it matches with your system's spec.
