onegig: keyboard is bad. Go get a new one. Shouldn't cost more than 4K.
Thank you for this. Do you sell? Or is there someone you can recommend? Would really appreciate your response on this.

Where did you get your software? Perhaps you go back to where you purchased it for help.

Normally, your produck key would be included in your windows 7 package.

Any activation key given to you here will be invalidated by Microsoft unless it is Genuine, like the other person suggested, ask the person that did the installation 4 u for the product key, on the alternative, u can use an in-built command in Windows 7 to Rearm it, this extends ur activation grace while u look for a Genuine key. U can start from those that sell softwares wink

You have to provide more info, we ain't wizards here lol

Tell us What really happens when you put on your system, does it display anything? Is the fan rolling? What about the lights(power led, hdd), does it come on? Does your system give a sound when you put it on? Is there an error message? Does it try to boot and then shows a blue screen?
you can see there are loads of info you need to give plus your system spec too and operating system you are running.

Now fill us in...

Pls i tried to upgrading my laptop dell D810 window 7, it did not work so when i tried restarting it it was showing me BOOTMGR is missing. ''press curl+alt+del to restart''
pls i need help

teknology: lol okay whenever i plug in my charger it starts to charger but when i try to boot it on it fails to start and the screen is always blank

Hmmm, i'm quite not satisfied with this info, anyways...
check if your charger is ok, or get another one to confirm...

Try a hard reset,
*unplug your charger
*remove your battery
*remove any peripheral devices
*hold your power button for 60seconds
*then power up your lappy again

If no joy,
Try this if you know your way to the laptop's RAM i.e memory.
Get a working RAM(from a friend) to swap with yours and see if it comes on
Or if your system contains two, then try each one separately

If no joy,

Get your system to a techy fast!

Am guessing u tried to upgrade to windows 8.

When u say "it didn't work" am guessing u didn't "eida complete the installation".

To fix try this:

1. Restart the PC. The BOOTMGR error could be a fluke.

2. If it still shows the error, Check your optical drives, USB ports, and floppy drives for media. Often times, the "BOOTMGR is Missing" error will appear if your PC is trying to boot from a non-bootable disc, external drive, or floppy disk.

3. Also, Check the boot sequence in BIOS and make sure the correct hard drive is set.

4. If those don't work, Perform a Startup Repair of Windows. This type of installation should replace any missing or corrupt files, including BOOTMGR.

Okay, it's very simple, you just need to be very careful.

Unplug your system and remove the battery

Usually, the memory compartment is at the underside of your lappy, just try to locate a cover at the back of your system with a screw.

Unscrew and remove the cover, you should be able to see the memory module, one or two..

Make sure you properly ground yaself by touching a metal surface properly grounded(i hardly remember to do this lol) before you handle the memory

Push the lactch sideways in opposite direction, and carefully lift the memmory a little bit and slide it outward, removing it from its slot.

Yep, thats it, you've successfully removed your RAM, putting it back is also easy, just slide it back the way you had brought it out making sure you align the groove properly and push it down gently until the latch snaps.

If this looks daunting, find a computer technician.
