TheSuperNerd:
Algeria U17s 1-0 up thanks to their Captain and number 9, Moslem Anatouf. It wasn't all him though. He was ably assisted by a somali defender's back pass.

Anatouf intercepted it, skipped past the keeper and easy finish, goal.

#MDU17AfconDiaries

Algeria won the first game 2-0 and their star man and skipper, Moslem Anatouf (#9) scored a brace and emerged MOTM.

Today's the turn of Nigeria. wink

South Sudan disqualified from the U17 Afcon

5 of their lads failed the MRI test conducted by CAF so they have to be booted out of Group C. Cameroun, Mali and Burkina Faso will battle it out in Group C. South Sudan are no longer a part of the tournament.

komekn:

Let me quote you verbatim;

Your brain should tell you that a young player affliation will be first to his/her country of birth before anything else.

You then anchor ⚓ your prejudiced and ignorant deduction on your self-birthed and self-justified imaginative negative bias.

How many Nigerian origin players born in Europe playing professional youth football ⚽ DO YOI KNOW, personally ❓❓

I know too many to count Nigerian origin players who their first choice was and is Nigeria. But the NFF officials have an agenda that is not based on merit but Egunje.

NFF corruption is not unique to Nigerian origin players but all players it is well documented and has been going on for decades.

You are now changing your strongly held original proposition.

Oga you are a lie
You are not a liar, you are THE LIE
All you do here is claim you know players personally, players whose names you refuse to mention.
You know plenty of professionals, work with them, yet you do not contribute anything meaningful to the resourcefulness of this forum.
Someone can come here and publish a whole football journal using the contributions of people like TheSuperNerd, Bascovanveli, icon4s etc. These guys don't claim to know everyone, they just do their thing.

You come here claiming to have worked with A-Z yet you give zero insight, zero insider news even your contributions 90% of the time make a lot of people question if you actually are involved in football at all, even in England where you claim to live.

Alaye you strike me as "The lie"

Osimhen eyes 2 milestones today

Victor "Monster Machine" Osimhen, a product of the ongoing U17 Afcon, will today look to not only finally confirm winning the Italian Scudetto (the biggest title of his career so far) depending on Lazio's result vs Inter Milan today.

Alongside that, he seeks to finally break George Weah's Goals Record for African players in Serie A. Weah has 46 goals in 114 games. Osimhen is currently on 45 goals in 76 games. He scores once today and he equals it. He scores twice and we have a new record. Get ready!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Currently?? The team hasn't even departed for Argentina yet. They depart by May 6.

Akinsanmiro Ebenezer will join them in Argentina by May 10-13 or so. He isn't with them yet.

Daninya33:

I read somewhere that Ebenezer Akinsanmiro of Inter Milan is currently with the U-20 team in Argentina.
Who can vouch for the authenticity of the report?.

The other day, he claimed he could assemble an u-20 squad of players born and raised in England that would do better than Bosso's team. I asked him to give us some names, just for the sake of those who would like to keep tabs on them, baba kept mute...

What is the point of knowing so much and yet sharing so little? Unless he is some sort of secret agent or something...

Plot twist. If things remain like this, Napoli might have to wait till the next game.

Inter leads 2-1!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I hear the Neapolitan chants of Joy.

Even at 1-1, a Napoli win vs Salernitana confirms the title today.

Lautaro Martinez with a brace to make it 3-1 to Inter.

Now on 17 League goals, just 4 behind Osimhen.

Osimhen needs to bag some goals today abeg to pull away some more. 😂😂

Victor Osimhen is currently on 9 headed goals this season across all competitions (7 in Serie A, 2 in the UCL).

I predicted since the beginning of the season on twitter that he will bag 10+ Headers this 22/23 season.

Today he may make it happen with just one more headed goal.

Meanwhile in England, Man City have a penalty. A chance to take the lead and leapfrog Arsenal.
