Senegal U17s Heroes today so far bear the same name. Serigne Diouf - GK who stopped a Congo penalty in the first half. Serigne Diouf - Defender who scored their goal after a goal mouth scramble that saw the Congo GK get caught in an air duel with another Senegal player. #MDU17AfconDiaries 1 Like |

Salernitana are actually on a 8-games unbeaten run in Serie A currently. They get a point in Naples and they will extend it to 9-games unbeaten. The Neapolitan party will have to wait. 1 Like |

5pm Naija Time. Like I said on Opening day, yesterday.... It would be live on Super Sport (Channel 209) and also live on the CAF YT Channel. If you are outside Africa, just go to the YT Channel and watch. But if within Africa, use a VPN and watch. solonnachi: 1 Like |

Just wondering all this talk of Senegal U17. I wonder where the bulk of their players are sourced fromβ Because the amount of Senegalese youth players in top teams in France is really astounding. I once watched the PSG U14 90% of them were full black Africans and a good number from Senegal at age 14 one of them was 6" 3' fast with muscle in his forehead and he was born in Paris. So no false age creation. Or are there players locally sourced β |

Osimhen isn't just an elite player I'm sorry...he's at best a decent striker, but several miles away from being classified as world class. He failed to deliver against Ghana in the world cup qualifiers, got marked out by Guinea Bissau, and somehow couldn't do it against Salertina when the weight of expectations were on him by Napoli (as a world class player) to seal the scudetto today, yet he failed. Napoli mathematically will win the scudetto, but Osimhen isn't just THAT GUY 3 Likes 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd: And it ends. Senegal U17 1-0 Congo U17. Senegal dominated proceedings but the Congolese Goalie and some poor finishing also saw Senegal manage a slim win. Still yet to see a truly clinical side at this Afcon but I hope that would be us (our Golden Eaglets) in our upcoming game. #MDU17AfconDiaries 1 Like

The Golden Eaglets Starting XI for today. Usman Owoyemi, Hope Linus and Tochukwu Ogbabido in Midfield. Favour Daniel will play in midfield or attack. CB pairing of ever reliable, Jeremiah Olaleke and Tochukwu Ogboji who comes in for the dropped Miracle Ogwor from the Wafu B. Emmanuel Michael and Yahaya Lawali are the fullbacks and they are your rolls Royce kinds. Expect fireworks from them. Watch out for Emmanuel Michael from freekicks too. ππ₯π₯π₯ Captain, Precious Williams and Top Striker, Abubakar Abdullahi are the final third threats to keep keen eyes on. 3 Likes

Honestly speaking, I was hoping some would be moved to the U20s but Bosso didn't look their way. He rather put the likes of Abubakar Abdullahi and Emmanuel Michael on the provisional u20 list. I suppose they would continue their journey from their academies/local teams. Some of them belong to Triple 44 FA like Ozor Okeke. Ebube Okere, Basil Mbata and Raphael Oyebanjo are also serious talents that I hope get a look in by foreign scouts with time. ChrisKels: 1 Like |

Napoli sadly couldn't do it but it's still a lifeline for ekong's side. Four points above the relegation zone. Really surprised they could even be alive at this point of the season. Till Thursday for the celebration. Hala napoli. |

Our Golden Eaglets have got a really interesting bench with the likes Jubril Azeez, Light Eke, Charles Agada, Olowoporoku and Simon Cletus not starting. Interesting depth of talents. Meanwhile, Zambia are a good side too. They beat Senegal 4-2 in a friendly over a week ago. And they are the Champions of the COSAFA Region. #MDU17AfconDiaries 1 Like 1 Share |
