Omo...I didn't even know the first half is about to end. TBH, I was afraid the lads may not be able to measure up due to their age. See better ball na...we just need that composure at the final third.

Hope Ladan Bosso is watching... No be to dey carry carpenters go tourney.

We are missing too many chances and the Zambians are waiting to counter us with their fast attackers. If we do not take our chances the Zambians might just nick it with one opportunity.
We need to be careful and not underrate the Zambians.
They hit the post and almost had a penalty.
We are too attacking, defense wins National team football. This is not a club football.
The number 2 and 3 are too attacking.

Lawali is one to look out for. Overlapping RB made for the modern game.

Ogbadibo is my guy. Cool headed, good control and decision making. I hope he turns out good for the SE in future.

Those are the only two that caught my eye but the whole team did well as a unit. I love the way they won every 50-50 ball and committed themselves to attack.

Two of our goals dey this second half. At least. Go stake am!πŸ™‚

I think the team have not yet gelled and that is due to them not understanding their strengths.

When pushing the ball through phases of the pitch with simple tidy passes, they seem brilliant.

However, when trying to make crafty passes through tight areas, they failed.

I hope the coaching crew spots this and tell the lads not to rush their plays.

Keep moving the ball in tidy manners and keep watching for players in spaces.

When in tight areas, try to get the ball out of there.

The boys look fit but it is expected from Ugbade to condition that boys well.

I also do not think the deep midfielder needs to push the press that high. Although that depends on the tactical idea of the coaching team.

I suggest he lies deeper and form a tight connection with the defenders.

The coaching crew needs to hammer on how deadly our offensive triangle play is. On few occasions, we ripped the defense of the Zambians with it. We need More of that.

That is the wide player moving the ball to the midfield and the midfielder feeding the striker with a through pass. We could invert the sequence to free the wide players too.

Let us see the second half. I believe Ugbade has conditioned our players to go at this intensity for a longer time and the Zambians may tire out as the time goes on.

I agree. I wanted to bring that up but it slipped off my head.

Our players need to hit the ball with harder thrusts. Some of those short passes have put us under pressure due to players being pushed up the pitch.

So we need to make our passes more accurate. Also, keep finding players in spaces.

This has been quite a challenge. Too many short passes. You'll almost think they are scared to hit the ball.

Kudos to the Zambians midfield though, they've stopped so many attacks.

Abubakar Abdullahi yet again went close with a header.

We are attacking very well. Our sequences beautifully built up time after time and phase after phase. But more than most, we see it break down in the Final third due to rushed or sometimes poor decision making.

It's about time we made one of these attacking sequences count with goals. I understand these are kids but then they also know what it at stake at this level.

Stay calm and just play the beautiful game you know and Love.

Times and Times again, whenever the Zambians hit us on their counter attacking run, #6 Jeremiah Olaleke is there to mop things up.

A rock at the back.

Richard Odoh just makes his first save of the game on 71 mins.

That's probably Zambia's first shot on target.
