This isn't true.

All member of staff of Eyimba were told to reapply. As ridiculous and weird as that sounds, it wasn't Kanu's initiative. It's a statewide thing. It appears everyone employed by the Abia state government were told to do this. They are trying to rid the state of ghost workers and this was the way they chose to do this.

Respect to Mike Emenalo the new Saudi Arabia league sport director.I thought Yobo was trying to work as a coach but now sport administrator.I think our ex internationals need to be focused on what they really want not just pursuing political positions that would later dent their images.

This man should go overseas for managerial job training upgrade.
It’s men like this that would step in the shoes of Keshi someday

A coach won league and next was sacked due to ghost workers in the state.

Then sack everyone except Finidi. U have to think about optics. It just doesn't look good. I would consider my options if I were Finidi.

You're missing the point. This didn't come from Kanu. It's a statewide thing. I'm not justifying what happened (in my opinion it's ridiculous and insulting) I'm only trying to correct the widely reported news that Kanu did it and reporting why it happened.

I agree. I found it distasteful seeing Yobo running from one event to another, waiting outside of event halls for Wike to go like one boy-boy. Just to get a position in government. These are guys that made enough money to make an impact in football. I expected Yobo to start an academy and build it into a club, promoting Niger Delta talents. He would have made even far more money by discovering 3-5 special talents.

Well, he wants to sit in an office and collect allocations. Good luck to him. Maybe, he has plans for Rivers United to bring them to glory.

Amazing talent. Surprised he's going to Spain, cause asides being a talented footballer, he's also a brainiac in academia. Very unlikely he'll be playing for Nigeria with the talent he's got.

We have
Daniel daga
Ebenezer Akinsanmiro
Victor Eletu
Samson Tijani
In the next 2 to 3 years we will discover more.
Our grassroots football is working.
So we are not desperate.
Even though it will be nice if he plays for us

una don come? Nobody comes close where? 😳

Iwobi remains the most skillful and intelligent player we can boast of in midfield who can easily find a way out with he’s skills in tight corners

Nwakali hv never been a dribbler or AM but a deep lying playmaker in the mould of ex Italy maestro pirlo

Nwakali is very good at long balls, one touch short passes and through balls but not a dazzler

Football of this era requires hard working midfielders be it attacking or defensive ones

Iwobi is not the most skillful and intelligent player in our midfield. Nwakali is.

For saying that Nwakali is not a dribbler means that you neither watch his games nor at least listen to his coaches and handlers. When it comes to midfielders that can dribble, he is one of the bests we have got.

I have said it before and i am repeating it again: Three players are very key to our results, Ndidi, Nwakali and Osimhen. I made the statement during Eguavoen's second stint as coach when he talked about building a team around a backbone.
