Sevilla are sure making a lot of Nigerian moves lately. Signed ejuke, nacho and also signed a deal with the Npfl on coaching of managers of youth teams in the league.

This is just extremely sad. How long will things like this continue within our sports ecosystem? To think Favour didn't get to compete at the 2020 Olympics because of the incompetence of the AFN and to see it repeat itself again four years after?

πŸ”΄ EXCLUSIVE: Chido Obi Martin to Man United, here we go! Talented striker leaves Arsenal and he’s just accepted Man Utd proposal.

Pathway key for Chido who’s turned down higher bids from Germany to sign for Man United.

Project convinced 2007 born top talent to accept #MUFC.

The ex-Flying πŸ¦…πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ midfielder has signed a pre-contract.

He's expected to sign a pro contract when he turned 18 in January 2025.

Daga played on loan at Enyimba last season in the NPFL from FC One Rocket

A championship player like Iheanacho ❓❓
He can't even paradoxically make the wooden regiments of teams like Arsenal. He does not even have up to 5 goals in the championship πŸ† why would he be fit to don and adorn the outfit of a renowned club in La Liga ❓❓

I no know if I try sha, just manage am like that boss πŸ˜‚

So far she qualified automatically why do AFN need to nominate her for those events again. I do not get it!

She is our most promising prospect and the World Athletics want to remove her from competing?!

Her name was even included in the AFN list that was released so who removed her name?
They have been plotting since she defeated Hills. We are watching!

That's not how it works. The World athletics Federation publishes qualification time prior to the Olympics that each athlete must meet to be considered. It's more like the first requirement for participation, it however doesn't translate into automatic qualification for the Olympics. Each Federation now have their own standards for selecting athletes that will represent them.

For instance US Athletics have a trial where all athletes irrespective of status and your time participate to determine who goes through. Athing Mu is the current Olympics champion for the 800m but won't be participating in this year's Olympics because she tripped during the US trials and came last. Mind you she already meet up with the Olympics time requirement. Nigeria also has a trial but we are a bit more flexible than the US even though every athlete has to have meet up with the time requirement.

Each association is expected to enter in their athlete for each race which is where I believe the AFN made the error with Favour Ofili.

Her name was on list released by AFN and tweeted by making of Champion! So who removed her name? I do not want to believe her name was removed after the list was released! Something is fishy somewhere!
