BascoVanVeli: I think the point was that the NNL had more realistic results than the NPFL. Being better does not mean it is perfect. Is it not Nigeria again. 1 Like |

Gent Winger Moses Simon Loses Fitness Battle, Withdraws From Nigeria Squad Published: November 05, 2017 Gent Winger Moses Simon Loses Fitness Battle, Withdraws From Nigeria SquadAllnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that exciting winger Moses Simon has become the latest player to withdraw from the Super Eagles squad, as he has joined Changchun Yatai F.C frontman Odion Ighalo in the treatment room. The availability of the Gent star had been questionable after he picked up a foot injury in training, before Friday night's game vs Standard Liege. Simon's injury has been assessed by Gent's medics and they have advised him not to travel to Africa and Russia for the World Cup qualifier against Algeria and the international friendly against Argentina. ''Moses Simon won't be available for the games against Algeria and Argentina due to the foot injury,'' a top source close to the Gent number 27 told allnigeriasoccer.com. With Chelsea dazzler Victor Moses not named in the latest roster due to a hamstring complaint, Simon was in line to start his fourth straight game in the World Cup qualifiers against the Desert Foxes. Manager Gernot Rohr is also sweating on the fitness of Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi, while John Ogu and Leon Balogun have not featured for their clubs in the last three matches because of concerns over their fitness. tbaba1234:OK my arguement is this how can a best tackler and most dribbled DM that almost make the worst XI of the season is the best DM in EPL. Am not trying to slack the guy but based on a comment by a moniker that he is the best and goldfish80 post made me to conclude that he is not the best DM in EPL presently. Agreed the best tackler but if you have any info that made him the best DM,honestly i w keep quiet and learn from it. 1 Like |

Wow, first yellow of the season by Aina? He's clean then. Roundup: Eduok, Aluko, Henty, Umar On Target, Uzoho Absent Again onlinenigeria.com Nov 5, 2017 11:20 AM [b]By Johnny Edward: Nigerian forward, Emem Eduok, scored his second goal of the season for Kasimpasa who played out a 2-2 draw at home to Bursaspor parading William Troost Ekong and Mikel Agu from the starting line-up. His compatriot, Kenneth Omeruo featured for all 90 minutes in his eight appearance of the season for the club. William Troost Ekong, on his part, played the entire duration of the encounter which was his 12th of the campaign, scoring twice. Mikel Agu was replaced at half time by Cristóbal Jorquera. At the Kadir Has Stadium, in Kayseri, Ogenyi Onazi was substituted in his seventh Turkish League appearance f.or Trabzonpsor in their goalless draw against Kayserispor. José Sosa replaced the Nigeria vice captain in the 41st minute of the draw. Onazi has scored one goal so far this term. Still in Turkey, Aminu Umar salvaged a point for Osmanlispor FK who drew 1-1 at home to Fenerbahce. The Nigeria international scored an 89th minute equaliser to earn his relegation battling side their second draw of the season. It was his second goal in 11 leagues appearances in Turkey. Osmanlispor FK moved out of the bottom of the Turkish Super Lig table (18th position) for the first time this season, to 17th. His compatriot, Raheem Lawal played for 86 before he was replaced by Payam Sadeghian in his eight start of the season. In the English Football League Championship, Nigerian forward Sone Aluko scored his second goal of the season in his 10th league appearance for Reading who outscored Derby County 4-2 away on Saturday. The win sees Reading move to 18th position on 18 points in the English Championship league table. It was back-to-back wins for Reading following their win against Forest four days earlier.. Ola Aina bagged his first yellow card of the season in his 15th appearance for Hull City who lost 4-1 away to Sheffield United. Leon Clarke scored a double brace. The defeat saw Hull drop into the relegation zone for the first time this season. In the Spanish LaLiga Santander, Nigerian goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, was not in the matchday squad for Deportivo La Coruna who lost 1-0 at home to Atletico Madrid. Super Eagles star Shehu Abdullahi captains Anorthosis Famagusta today.ng Nov 5, 2017 9:08 AM Super Eagles’ Shehu Abdullahi has been elevated to the role of captain at his Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta. Abdullahi wore the armband in their 5-1 thrashing of Olympiakos Nicosia which took them to the top of the league in Cyprus, a point more than second place AEK Lamaca who have however played a game less. Linked with a move away from the team in January, Abdullahi was on for the entire duration of the game, which was his last before he joins the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Morocco, where they will camp for their upcoming games against Algeria and Argentina. While a move away from Anorthosis Famagusta looks likely in January, the club are however confident of holding onto the 24 year old until the summer, even though he will be a free agent after the World Cup. For now there has been no talks about a contract extension which has further swelled talks about a potential move away from the club in January, as they will want to cash in on him now than lose him for free in the summer.
