Exactly. But regardless I think it's a good thing that we have solid RB in him and Shehu.

Ehen baba Kog45, I wanted to chip in something regarding Vicmo. If there's one thing that is seriously, I mean seriously lacking in this team is crossing of the ball. Several times I've harped on it but I was told that in modern football the wingers cutback and move towards the goal. But I still see teams like Germany, Brazil, Spain France floating in beautiful crosses. This SE team lack good crossers of the ball. We present no aerial threats whatsoever. It's a deficiency in our attacking game ooo.

Aina is probably the best crosser of the 3.

The thought of what this young man will do to some big name players at the World Cup just dey make me happy grin grin and how some big clubs will come knocking for his signature wink wink
There is this way he gums his opponents with pressure to lose the ball without necessarily fouling them. He has a similar marking style to Chelsea's Azipliueta.

The 19-year-old who will be named in Nigeria’s squad for next month’s friendlies against Poland and Serbia has now conceded nine goals this season in 15 league games for Real Deportivo Fabril.

Omo this stats are frightening sha. Nine goals in fifteen appearances. Hmmmmm

I declared him our starting RB in Russia after the Argies friendly game. And my opinion has not changed yet. And on that same day, I declared Francis Uzohor our starting goalkeeper (baring Vincent Enyeama's return to the team).

Mujtahida:

Please ooo my people, I am an Ebuehi fan but let's look at this from a footballing angle without sentiments of age or experience but ability.
This boy might prove more sturdy defensively and sharper offensively than Shehu ooo. Read the bolded. That's exactly what he did to Angel Di Maria. Currently he is among the best 3 RB in the Eredivisie.

Tbaba1234 what do you think? Your thoughts please. Oga Icon4s, Kog45 make una look am ooo

I watched my darling club against man utd but not really impressed with Moses Victor, his crosses was damn too poor and anytime around man utd box it seems lost or don't even know what to do,well is not playing that position in eagles so i expect better attacking Moses in GWG.

Uzoho has 10 clean sheets in 15 games. (11 in 17 games if you add his La liga games..)

Those 9 goals came in 5 games... Conceded 2 goals each in 4 games and 1 in the 5th game

Thank God that you even mentioned those home based players. Imagine if Manu had left them out because they were NPFL players and stuck solely with his U17 winning team. That is why I still blame Amuneke for the last U20 disappointment. Manu knows better in that aspect.

Imagine if a player like Etebor had played in that 2nd round lose to Germany at the 2015 U20. He is a player that can dismantle any opposition at that age level. If he did so at U23 is it now U20?

Didn't u just say Karo was left off because he played in the NPFL? That is where i am coming from. All this is just presumption. Iheanacho broke into the Man City 1st team right after the world cup but he spent the most of the tournament on the bench.

You just nailed it.

I hate it when people accuse players of overage when they don't have any concrete evidence.

Bring up a valid evidence and not hearsay and let's drop the player simple.

The reality is there is no way of substantive authentication of birth in Nigeria.

Because there is no AUTOMATIC CORROBORATED BIRTH DATA CAPTURE. You have to rely on personal integrity.

Moses in GWG has always been himself. No be today he start to play as RWB for Chelsea. He is given a free role in the national team, and he does that very well.

Modified.
If anything, it’s adding more strength to his game. He is losing nothing.

How can u say he is losing nothing when it is clear to see that he is getting less offensive. Just like with Alaba and Rakitic I feel the situation runs a risk of affecting our national team. Great for club but bad for country.

Hmm at my age, some still believe I am below 25 until I speak.

Make I just mechonu
Icon4s:

Someone like Moses Eneji, I never really saw him at the WAFU tourney because the only part of the tournament I watched was from that moment in the final when Ghana scored their first goal. No Nigerian station showed the competition except the final.

The first time I really saw him was in that CHAN final against Morocco. At my first glance of him, the commentator mentioned he was 18years old. And I was like "for real"?. But after a closer look at his face I saw that boyness on his face. You know some kids just keep beards just to look like their elder brother's mates.

Let's not wash our dirty clothes outside like some said on this thread.

I need to ask a question, is the Russian league on break? Been seeing some of their club football activities (for the lower leagues) taking place in Cyprus. I don't understand why.
Kog45:
Bros Peter Eneji 18 years old? Francis Uzoho 19 years old?oga icon4s pls let's move on before guys turn this to serious debate o.

I was with Uzoho and co at UAE 2013 and i can say they are young but i cannot ascertain their true ages.

l still wonder what's wrong with taking Ajiboye as first choice, of course he would be surrounded with better defenders than what he had against Morocco.

There is nothing wrong with the pitch or the quality of play. I see far worse in the NPFL. Some of the play is very good. This is not the highest level of football.

My goodness, this is quite discouraging! I have only watched two clips but that's enough ... Uzohor is not a world cup caliber team. Making him our starting goalkeeper would be like taking knife to a gun fight, folks shocked

Right now, I think I would be interested in taking a look at Dele. We're definitely in deep shis if we can't sort out this goalkeeping issue before June. Can the NFF even explore the options of convincing some of these goalkeepers, in Euro league, who have zero chance of going to world cup to switch their allegiance?
