Onyekuru is also not a striker.

He played there for his former Belgium team Eupen and scored hand full of goals, he started in that position when he left for Anderlecht, before the coach pushed him to the left.

Onyekuru is Thierry Henry and Anthony martial kinda striker, he can play in all position forward but prefer to cut from the left

How time flies.

Long gone were the days Nigerians are pissed off because of International breaks. All they care about was club football.

Very few then long and savour for the break so they can see their players sing the national anthem with pride.

But today, the story has changed. The SEs of Nigeria are now the fans favourite. All thanks to Amaju pinnick led administration. All thanks to coach Rohr and his technical crew. All thanks to the players who have found pride in putting on the GWG and finally All thanks to the fans/supporters who have stood with the team through the thick and thin periods.

God Bless The Super Eagles!
God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

It's because the super eagles are winning and playing good football,if naija begin loose now but God forbid,na from this thread you go Begin see people wey get 10 mouth......Up super eagles

Onyekuru is a Striker at default. He only features in a wing role at his club attimes.

I believe apart from the usual invitees that ain't in camp now due to injury or visa issue, the only addition this team need for world Cup is Onyekuru... That dude will give ighalo a run for his position

Spot on man, that guy is so underrated. Evertonians celebrate him more than us.

Whatever happens today, remember that this is a friendly match.

I expect at least 2 goals.

A PK might show up against us.

Apart from Mikel, the 1st 11 shouldn't have issues showing us what to expect in Russia come June.
True talk. Lewy is a guru at winning penalty kicks.
But the good thing is he's the only real threat

I would not use this formation.

Mine:

Ebuehi Ekong Balogun Awaziem Idowu
Ndidi Ogu
Obi
Moses Iwobi Kelechi

Let's try the 5-3-2 pattern a second time.
Good formation but Iheanacho can't play as a LM as he's left-footed. Swap his place with Iwobi and it becomes balanced.

Most of his goals for Eupen did not come as a striker.

You don't value what you have, if Belgium had given us a case to fight for the lad. We would have given him better opportunities.

I've watched games of him in national colors(which have been few) where he was unplayable, fearless and less selfish than usual. A game changer, Anderlercht capitulated after his injury. My favorite and best Eagles player by a mile.

I just read the statement by Jordan Torunarigha:

"The chance to play for Nigeria at the World Cup would have honored me, of course, because my father played for this country as well, but it soon became clear to me that I wanted to prove myself to the DFB. I'm new to the U21 and I really want to get my way there. "

I hope he gets to the level to play for Germany.

He is young but it will be extremely difficult for him to play for Germany..

This guy has shown consistent integrity from day one making it clear that he wants to play for Deutschland and not Nigeria.

However, we have consistently bent over backwards publicly and behind the scenes. He has refused but nobody is asking for his head and calling him unsavoury names. Smacks of a double standard seemingly, I wonder why ❓ Particularly seeing the extent of hate speech Tega got.

I know some will not like this. I am not convinced that he is better than Dominic Iorfa.

Good Morning Guys

Today is the D Day.... And My hope is high!

Win or Lose I am solidly behind this team ...But we will win... We have to win because we are the Eagle, the king of the sky!

We don't have to lose to prove a point. Winning rather will prove a bigger point. The Glory days are back. We must relish our time now even before the world cup because anything can happen at the mundial.

Let's enjoy our moments now and let time take care of the rest!!

Winning is Everything!!

House, i tink Super eagles RB/RWB depending on formation is the most competitive position in the team cos the 4 players competing for one(if its 3-5-2) or 2(if its 4-4-2) spots are all playing week in, week out for their various clubs. Shehu, Aina, Ebuehi, and Victor Moses. Final 23man list for the worldcup will really be tough for Rohr if all these players are fit come June. I guess Idowu will be happy and thanking his luck that he is a left footer and has only Pa Echiejile to contend with. The summary is that, Idowu has more chance to make the world cup list than Ola Aina cos even if the latter can play left back too, Rohr will always go for a natural specialist in that position...Goodmorning house

If not for the work permit issues he would probably be in playing right now. Everton ate in desperate place.

Sam Allardyce has not got much to offer as well. Add to that they do not have apart from the formerly forgotten man Niasse a good quality striker.

He said earlier "his father did not want him to play for Nigeria". That is a different statement from the one above. The one above is more of a direct commitment to Germany by the man not a man saying what his father told him.

The way, the whole Tammy affair played out turned out to be disrespectful. That is the main reason, he gets stick. Talking about red carpets and all. A simple respectful statement would have sufficed.

Perspectives, I am not convinced Iorfa is better than him.

Anderlecht were in terrible form anyways.. They have now won three games in a row.

Onyekuru would add value to the team when fit but there are few spaces for grabs.

Spare him those explanations. Dude is fond of turning a blind eye whenever the truth is staring at him.

Every naija fan would welcome Torunarigha with open heart if his sojourn with Germany turns sour than they would Tammy. We all know the reason.

I just hope u guys should learn to ignore this man whenever he's wailing
