My thought on Nigeria vs Serbia I think Rohr should rest Ekong and Balogun..why? Their patnership has been tested, trusted and assured...of all the departments in the team, both gives peace of mind.. unless Rohr want to test other defenders with them INDIVIDUALLY. Also, Ndidi,Ogu and Onazi...their midfield formation has gelled... 7 Likes 1 Share |

They are different people with interests that conincidentally align. There is a chance that if SE is full of England based players, they will both get their way at least 70% of the time. They are only SE fans when the composition of the team supports their ideologies. I'm just trying to be civil here lol Modified From my observation of forgiveness, in my estimation I think in real life he is that "Federal character" kind of guy. Komekn clearly thinks England should be the benchmark for everything. Farzat: 2 Likes |

somehow:I love your question.I think we had this discussion yesterday based on Mikel Agu late call and metaljigsaw said why when we have Ndidi,Onazi,Joel,Ogu,Etebo, and Agbo even Agbo continue invitation has a question mark. Humility017 and metaljigsaw believe what we need now is AM cos it was evident against Poland and they are right but the question is do we have one. I came up with Sone Aluko and Kekechi Nwakili but some came hard on me said why Aluko?but didn't question why Nwakili Kelechi. The issue here is simple we are too sentimental and emotional in our response to issues and we often forget that we are talking football. I now realized mentioning name Aluko is not the issue or his quality is questionable but some see it as a way to hit back at some monikers, that's not analysis. If we are questioning clamouring for Aluko then why are we trying to justify Chiedebere Nwakili invitation for Algeria and Argentina match, pls on what ground. I made my recommendation and i said Aluko and Kelechi,Humility017 thumb me up on Kelechi Nwakili and forgiveness said why Kelechi Nwakili who is now playing in dutch 2nd tier. I think Aluko would fit in just like Joel Obi cos he once a member of the team right from U20 and Nwakili is a young lad with great talent and see him as a future replacement for Mikel. Major issue here we leave football analysis to settle personal scores which is not good for this thread. 3 Likes |

gamaliel9: On first bolded that partnership should continue and become more solidified. Omeruo and Awaziem may also show substitute showings as back-ups, when necessary, to also integrate them into CB fold. I think we are settled in this department of the team. On second bolded, how many games have the trio played together for you to make such conclusion? 3 Likes |

tbaba1234: You are reading into small details misunderstandings. So if he contacts the NFF last summer, 2 years earlier than he had stated, what do you think he talked to them about He plays CB as well. Reminds me of a certain RB for Nigeria that rose to fame as RB but was placed as a CB for Everton and the rest is history. Yobo if not most capped player in the SE definitely most capped defender. |

Guys just finished watching the game, men! Our guys dey press. Lawd!!! Ighalo and Kelechi were pressing the life out of the back three with the middle four and back four pressing hard. We should be happy! REAL TALK NOW As much as we pressed them, so did they But why they had more possession was because of our average pass accuracy, Brian idowu was just ballooning the ball in the air, defensively he tried but passing and take on's ? Him no try, Echeijile of 2013 better pass am. John ogu!!! Very underrated guy. If you notice when he came in, we switched to a 4-1-4-1 formation with ogu in front of the back four and Musa as the front guy given the back three of the polish guys having time on the ball to play up to the center line cus they were going for a goal, but the difference now was that they still had only two central midfielders(3-4-3) but we had a John ogu sitting deep with two guys that can mark in Onazi and ndidi (truth is Onazi at room temperature can ginger counter attack) I.e It was 3 against 2 in the middle, they tried to build from the middle (for where ndidi and Onazi dey) counter them sharp sharp in a space of 5 minutes we countered twice and almost scored. 10mins more we could have scored. Tyrone Ebuehi dey chin-gum die. Weakness The polish guy were winning header in our box too much and our free kicks were not played in to threaten areas. 15 Likes 1 Share |

komekn: By last Summer, we already had Idowu, Aina and Ebuehi. Yes, Iorfa is available for selection but there is no vacancy at right back. Iorfa is not primarily a CB. Yes he plays there but that is not his primarily role. It is not a surprise that the coach did not look his way in his search for CBs. 2 Likes |

Very good development seeing young players come to us. Watched this clip of Tosin Kehinde, www.youtube.com/watch?v=83CPkex7CJA&feature=youtu.be Greatest asset is his confidence, something peculiar with youth players. Uses both feet. And a remarkable all-round player, can tackle as well as attack. Great prospect for the FUTURE. But The gaffer should leave him to develop for a year or two. Nigeria is becoming a team of young men, our growth is like that of Liverpool, good coach, positive results and players like Ox and Van Dijk, are rejecting bigger teams for us. I'm very excited at our blueprint. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-utd-news-tosin-kehinde-14456328 3 Likes |

Humility017: If you had some wisdom, before jumping on the train you should check where it's coming from and where it's going. That way when you comment it will in context and related to the specific discussion at hand. When you take a word out of context it becomes a CON. That's what you are doing misrepresentation but with premeditated negative prejudice. So go back if you have integrity and see what the underpinned the discussion and where it started from before you comment. Finally you have not answered my questions just evaded them. 1 Like |

SerVik: Professional career progression and choosing your national team are not the same thing. They are miles apart so using that comparison is simply not tenable. Can I ask how many overtures where made to Jordan Torunarigha past, present and continuous using the supposed standard you have made. Double standard. |

Kog45: Egbon, there is no double standard anywhere.. the German boys are just being more frank with us than the Queens boys... Don't forget that Rohr has already meet with some British born Nigerian player who are willing to represent us and I'm sure they have been given an assurance of a call up soon.... as for Torunarigha snubbing us,I personally don't have a problem with it since he was frank with us unlike what Tammy,Nedum Onuoha,Ibe and Agbonlahor did.... 5 Likes |
