Why re u negative minded? So because you think he is not good enough for the epl he should reject a golden opportunity to play in the one of the best leagues in Europe and also to earn good money? Nawaooo

Scrappy players, yet he used the same players to make a name?
Scrappy players, yet they got to the finals of AHFON in Morrocco a few years ago with another coach

Only a lazy man (Coach) blames his tools for failure.

Like he's also not a local coach with egunje spirit.

This would only materialise at the end of the season. Salah will stay till the end of 2019/2020 season for sure. After that, then yes, these speculations and anything could happen.

MLS playoff stops Ejimadu from U23 AFCON, now eyes Tokyo Olympics action

Philip Ejimadu now hopes to play at Tokyo Olympics with Nigeria

SCORENigeria can specially report that Los Angeles FC goalkeeper Philip Ejimadu missed the U23 AFCON, which will start this weekend in Egypt, due to MLS Cup playoff which involved his team.

The highly-rated shot stopper said he now hopes he will get a chance to play at next year’s Tokyo Olympics should Nigeria qualify.

The U23 national team coach Imama Amapakabo was communicating with the giant goalkeeper on possibility of him coming to camp after he was scouted for the team, but his club did not subscribe to him leaving because they will get involved in play off.

“I talked with the Nigeria U23 coach after I was scouted for the team. He was ready to give me invitation to come to camp for them to see me and possibly go to AFCON U23, but unfortunately my club Los Angeles FC said no because we are to play in the MLS playoff.

“The coaches said I have to be part of the team for the playoff in case there is card or injury to one of the goalkeepers ahead of me in the team.

“I am very delighted I got such opportunity to represent my country. I am praying they get the Olympic ticket so I can get another chance.”

The 20-year-old big goalkeeper was outstanding for FC Tucson, where he played on loan this season.

Ejimadu born to Nigerian father and Brazilian mother in Minnesota, USA, played for Nacional Atletico Clube in Sao Paolo, Brazil, before he joined Los Angeles FC.

He won three caps for USA U23 national team in 2018.

He is a great coach. He calls Origi Liverpool legend even without seeing first team football. Btw did you notice the mention of Great players from Genk. De Bruyne and Ndidi. Yet people want us to believe Ndidi is a carpenter who doesn't know how to pass grin

You must be from Enugu? Imama's weakness has always been his defence. When he won the league he said if they score 2 he will score 3 but football doesn't always work like this

Leave komekn he will even agree bichi is better than nacho. He hate nacho with passion. He lost all objectivity when is come to that young man. 2 goals, in 2 games for nacho ain't bean but Mr prejudice komekn wanna drag him to the mud despite knowing fully well that nacho has not been given opportunity to play this season.

I don't agree that KC and Musa are better in the context of EPL football than Dennis.

Ane because they failed doesn't mean Dennis will, l actually think that Dennis is more technically astute than both of them.
how do you mean nacho flop in epl? You suddenly wanna sweep his record at man city under the carpet? Despite the fact that nacho was a bit part player in mancity with limited game time, he still scored a good number of goals. He has already scored 2 goals in 2 games this season. You can't fault a man who hasn't been given an opportunity to play. Komekn....

Thinking outside the box the nff should consider Akwa United's former Brazilian coach Raphael Everton. I watched him closely and the man knows his onions and he is a man of integrity. He showed this by refusing to be bullied into playing certain players by Paul Bassey Akwa's chairman. The man has ambition and he could do great with our CHAN team. The man is also very mature, upon all he has been through in Nigeria you will never see him giving an exclusive bashing our league or players.
